fug it for where they got him and for where this team is I wish they would just roll him out there week 1 come hell or high water. What’s the point of starting darnold now when we all know what inevitably is going to happen? I think with a qb like corral we are going to see almost immediately if he has what it takes. If he can execute going from rpo to a nfl offense then we may be in business and him getting reps is the best path forward. If the transition is too much then fug it draft someone again next year. Our sunk cost in him is pretty marginalized at this point.

Not sure why you are comparing the Giants draft but their first round is sheer brillance. Perhaps the best best rusher and perhaps the best tackle in the draft. As for ours we have one starter from the draft. "Could start" doesnt matter as we sit today. Our draft is a solid C as we stand the sunday after the draft. And I am fine with that. I love the icky pick and I love the corral pick (as far as value goes). Everyone else looks either like a special teams player or not making the final roster.

Corral in the 3rd is perfect for him and this class. We should know relatively soon if the kid is worth a poo and if not its easy to pull the plug. You simply cannot do that if he is a first, way too messy and more times then not teams will still try to force him to work therefor fuging up your teams timeline.

It will never happen but I wish some folks would simply say "damn I was wrong as hell about x player" I know for me I posted a few times that if the Panthers were hell bent on drafting a rookie qb I would go tackle at 6, trade cmac for a first and pick howell. Holy fug that would have been a disaster. NFL scouts obviously see some major major issues with Howell and these guys
