  1. I am not seeing anyone paying the price for #6 this year. There just isnt that much high end talent that could slip to us and I dont see anyone giving us fair value.
  2. I would bet money that Darnold is our starting qb week 1 at this point. No rookie, no injured Jimmy and no Baker can stop this train. Might as well embrace it and see this puppy through. We (rhule and co) traded valuable assets and now are paying out the ass for darnold, on top of singing his praises for a year. Make it work rhule
  3. I'll believe it when I see it because neither make any sense at all.
  4. I am A)trying to understand how either qb helps for the 2022 season B) wondering what it is we would part with to acquire either one
  5. I'm pretty sure we are going to be trading our #6 pick for pennies on the dollar just to get another pick(s). We are going to get fleeced. So it was written.
  6. And alcohol. Too many red flags from the jump
  7. We are not going to pay 37ish million dollars for Darnold and baker. That is so stupid it makes my head hurt
  8. He makes great points. Hate him all you want but he backs up his argument
  9. I dont think bias is the word you are looking for here. I think the bulk of us just realize our situation as a franchise and think there is simply no way we can afford to draft a kid like willis. We just are not set up for that type of project. His flaws are in direct contrast with what we need at the moment.
  10. I think he is damaged goods at this point. However he has never had a good line and he has had what 5 different oc's at this point. Neither we or the jets did him any favors
  11. This todd mcshay: “I’d love to see him in a situation where he doesn’t get thrown in right away, where he has people around who can develop him. .” “It’s pretty clear he has the most upside of the class’ quarterbacks,” McShay said. “Is he ready to take over right away? That’s another discussion.” The ESPN analyst suggests the Liberty standout might need one year in the pros to develop and possibly learn behind a veteran. https://www.sportscasting.com/nfl-draft-analyst-todd-mcshay-reveals-why-malik-willis-top-15-nfl-qb/
  12. Im sorry but a one word tweet isnt giving me the warm and fuzzies that Willis will be able to start and win games in year one, especially when the HUGE knock on him is he is raw and is playing in an elementary offense. But by God if some dude named Chris Trapposo says he can play then fug it all draft willis at 6 and lets roll
