  1. Rhule and Fitterer are thinking real hard right now!
  2. LOL, we have a better chance of landing Watson than Rodgers! I bet it would take 5 1st rounders and one of Tepper's balls for GB to even entertain the idea of trading Rodgers
  3. Huddlers want the shiny new toy at the toy store (new unproven QB in draft) rather than a used toy that you picked up a the local yard sale (Sam Darnold with Jets). But hey, one man's trash is another man's treasure. Hopefully we got a treasure.
  4. I also believe that there are only 3 can't miss prospects outside of the QB position, Pitts, Sewell, and Chase. If these guys aren't there at 8, strongly consider moving back.
  5. It depends on how far back we are willing to move. If we are only moving a couple of spots back, it's unlikely we'll get a future 1st round pick, different story if we are moving back 10+ spots. I think it's more valuable to try and get a 2nd round pick out of this year's draft if we are to move back. I suspect if Fields is there at 8, Panthers have an auction to the highest bidder. If Sewell, Pitts, Chase and possibly Slater are gone before pick 8, Panthers for sure would move back.
  6. Eagles are going to be contenders next year.....contenders for 1st overall pick in the draft!
  7. I think it would be foolish to make a pre-draft trade without knowing what prospects are available at 8. Don't outsmart yourself by trading back to miss out on a blue chip player. There's a greater chance of hitting on a pro bowl/All Pro player in top 10 compared to outside of top 10. I remember we traded back with Jets and got Jon Beason and Ryan Kalil which were great players for us, but the Jets got an All Pro CB and potentially HOF in Darelle Revis.
  8. I've been watching a lot analysts breakdown the Sam Darnold trade and a lot of them say that the dude definitely has talent. A lot of them say that it's the Jets structure and environment. I'm also very skeptical about this trade, however that vast majority of football heads believe Darnold still has talent and it says more about the Panther's coaching staff if they can turn him into a superstar, so I'm hopeful that Darnold will be our franchise QB we've been waiting for since Cam.
  9. "You ask Ron why they couldn't have won that game against us!! Is Ron so petty that he would lose on purpose to us to lower our draft position?"
  10. If fields or Lance falls to us at 8 do you still draft them over Darnold?
  11. I think our FO is lost. It feels like we settled for whatever that's left, again I blame the FO for not playing this QB carousel offseason better. We don't know if Watson is available, we got jumped by SF for a QB, we're not sure which QB would be available at 8, we couldn't trade for Stafford. I'm not so sure that Darnold is an upgrade at this point, we're just banking on his "potential."
  12. Sir, please step away from the edge! It's not worth it! There are many more reasons to live for than crying over TB! TB as QB is not the end of the world! We survived a coronavirus pandemic, we can survive the TB pandemic!
  13. The real question now is what is ATL going to do? Do they pick the last of the 4 QBs or go a different position? If ATL doesn't pick a QB then one of the four really can fall to us at 8 with Philly moving out of spot 6. Mia, Det, and Cincy don't need QB. Unless someone leaps frog us again, we may still get a chance at a QB.

  15. I blame the panthers for telling the entire league that we were QB desperate and willing to do anything for one. We pretty much told the whole league our dick size and that we weren't happy and wanted an upgrade! lol
  16. Teddy B is looking more and more likely for next year lol! What a time it is to be a Panthers Fan!!!
  17. I wonder if the Huddle thinks if SF package deal was too much? What if it was us who traded for #3 instead of SF? I bet this place would explode!
  18. Dan Orlovsky didn't fix his "flaws" that's why he never amounted to anything.
  19. I'm talking about consistency, unlikely to reproduce 5 sacks in one game again. His numbers are inflated by one game, that's all .
  20. With the way things have fallen so far through free agency, outside of drafting a QB, I think Kyle Pitts makes a lot of sense as BPA. Possibly a CB if we don't address that in free agency.
  21. I read somewhere that the Bears offered 3 1st round picks, a 3rd round, and 2 starters and Seattle turned them down. How much would Houston want for Watson and is Tepper so infatuated with Watson that he would approve such a deal? I hope Rhule and Fitterer have the balls to questions Tepper's "All-in on Watson, no matter what it takes" mentality.
  22. 5 of those came in one game against the Giants lol
