I'm not saying this won't happen but the rumors today on draft twitter make this level of chalk seem unlikely. I will say I think Campbell and Membou and MAYBE Banks all go before 8 I really think SF ultimately ends up trading up for an OT

don't love those players personally but love the plan. Having two thirds and two fourths means you could probably package those two thirds to trade up for a high second. So we would have pick 12 + early second + late second + two fourth rounders. That would be legit

I think we are really hoping either Dallas or SF trades up so we don't fall too far down the board

I think there is a legitimate chance that Walker could go anywhere from picks 4-7 so I wouldn't put this in pen yet

it seems split on whether or not we like Walker or Williams at pick 8 tbh

the probelm with this years draft is there are no real "can't miss prospects' even hunter and carter have flaws AND the talent is not great at the top. lots of solid not great players imo

I think the Panthers really like Mykel Williams and think he's going to be available a little later in the first.

I am starting to get increasingly concerned about Jalon Walker as a prospect, maybe I am just starting to overthink things

see I think the opposite, I think they basically said look we can either build this thing right and not overdraft a QB like Daniel Jones or you can fire us and get the same result

A trade down and netting an extra second would be YUGE for us though. If we do that and get Mykel or Donovan E. Call it a day boys (gender neutral term)

I'd be happy with jalon walker at 8 however as I said in another thread I don't think he makes it past LVR. Carroll was part of the organization that drafted Bruce Irvin in the first.

I would love him in a trade down. I don't think he currently has the build to be an everydown player in the league but give him a few years and he *could* end up looking the steal of the draft

Yep I agree. I think Mykel is a panther in that scenario and again I really see this happening

not the worst thing we could do, however history does not look kindly upon top ten TE selections

I'm becoming more and more convinced we miss on both walker and graham that the draft goes like this 1- titans Cam 2- browns carter 3- giants Hunter 4- Pats Membou 5- Jax Graham 6- LVR Walker 7- NYJ Campbell Even if Jax goes Walker, I think NYJ take Graham. Unless someone trades up in the top 7 for Shedeur I don't see us getting either one of those guys

Of the options you listed a trade back most entices me particularly if we stay in the top 15. However if you made me pick I'd take Jalon Walker

Incredible that he made that many trades and didn't really improve our team aside from next year's draft
