    fair I agree 30 mill is a sticker shock but come next year when pass rushers are getting 35 mill a year his deal will look fine Same thing happened with Jaycee and DB

    respectfully i disagree a draft pick is a dice roll Phillips is a known excellent pash rusher who can defend the run and is only 26. chances like this happen so rarely

    draft is very middling in terms of edge talent IMO two of the tops edges have historically short arms

    I would *much* rather take a late round flyer on Taylen Green and see if we can develop him / use him for designed QB runs and hail marys than waste a single cent on Kenny Pickett

    Eagles are probably asking for Crosby/Micah esque comp for Carter, which is too expensive for us and I'd be worried about him longterm

    agree with this. obviously this is the make or break year for Bryce. I can't see us forking over a giant extension if he doesn't take major strides next year in terms of consistent play

    call me crazy but I like this move moving Canales to a more CEO type role I think will help w/ running the day to day function of the team and also with in game management of situations. I think he was so focused on calling plays he was sort of losing the forest for the trees so to speak.

    zero percent suprised Luke is a nice guy irl, have never heard anything differently from anyone that's met him. I have heard mixed reports on Smitty I know one guy on here got to know Deangelo Williams and J stew pretty well back in the day when they used to host events and he said they were nice iirc I can't imagine Jordan gross is a bad hang, he's hilarious

    I don't think so, even if next year goes badly he's shown enough improvement thus far to keep plugging away. The only way I would look to fire him is if someone like McVay or Shannahan was available (which like 90% of other teams would want them too)

    Sadiq wasn't quite as good this year as I was anticipating. wouldn't hate the pick but would much rather draft a LB, edge, pass rushing DT, CB, OT and yes even WR over him

    this draft is not good at the top but is quality in the middle. I see us more likely to trade back then up also Bain may not even be an edge at the next level

    from a negotiatian standpoint everything you are saying makes sense. My point is it will down the road save us money, but playing like that is very fair given our cap is somewhat tight this year
