Jimmy G threw 75 yards in the NFC champion game and was carried the entire season by his defense and running game. He also was also the reason they lost the Super Bowl. Bridgewater with that running game and defense definitely could get to the Super Bowl. Garoppolo and Bridgewater are the exact same kinda QB. Maybe look at why he made it to the Super Bowl instead of giving him credit he doesn’t deserve. Your reason for getting him is the same reason why we signed Bridgewater after he went 5-0. Undeserved praise for something he didn’t accomplish on his own.

Not with him as QB. He is just bother Bridgewater. Literally going back to the same QB. If we get him we might as well of kept Bridgewater.

That tweet was from yesterday and Watson is meeting with other teams. So I doubt it is true.

Probably won't hear anything till Thursday or Friday. Maybe not till next week. The fact that Watson is meeting with all these teams means that the Panthers and Saints didn't blow him away and make him immediately think about making a decision. No matter how "well" the meeting went. It is all team propaganda anyway. It is frustrating because I just want it to be over. Darn that no trade clause. It would already be over if it wasn't for that. Gonna be a freaking long few days to week or weeks.

I just want to see Fitt with a coach he actually hired.

Personally I think he deserves whatever he gets. Being owners of 2 really bad teams is kinda funny. Panthers suck, Charlotte FC sucks. Seems like comeuppance.

Signing Bridgewater to an 3 year deal even though he wasn’t the reason the Saints went 5-0, and signed Darnold’s 5th year extension before he took a snap and had 3 of the statistically worse years as a QB. Teppers tenure as owner in one word: Incompetence. Keeping Rhule and losing Watson because of it is just another sign of incompetence.

I guess one good thing coming out of this. Rhule is a lame duck. He’ll be gone before the season is over.

Plus won’t we have quite a bit of cap space in the coming seasons. With Watson Panthers could actually be a place players want to come. Just trying to think of some positives.

I just want this crap to be over. Whether he comes to us or some other team I wants this Watson trade to happen to we can stop talking about it. Unless he is on our team the I guess the complaining won’t stop. I hope we don’t end up in a situation where Watson is carrying Rhules butt. We still need a new coach.

Panthers gonna be bad in 2022. Watson won’t change that. We will be a bad team with a franchise QB. Unable to do anything to improve the team because we got rid of all our picks and good players.

I just want a QB that is ours. Not someone’s damaged goods. That said, I agree, I think at least one of these QBs will surprise people with how good he is and it won’t be the one the Panthers draft.
