One thing I hate about hockey is how inconsistent it is. Hurricanes played like a contender for 2 games and now are playing like they don’t belong. Where is the team that scored 11 goals these past 2 games at? Apparently they stayed in Raleigh.

Yeah it felt inevitable for a while the Devils were gonna slip one through. Then something kicked on and became some really fun to watch hockey.

This team is something special. Don't know what will happen the rest of the series but I am so happy they are coming together and playing some of the best playoff hockey I have seen from them. They keep this up they can beat anyone.

Honestly those games always gave me a bad feeling when watching them. Like a time bomb waiting to go off. Which eventually it did. Something just never felt right.

Yeah I still didn’t understand why people thought we were a playoff team. I mean we barely beat the Jets, barely beat the Texans and even though we blew out the Saints Darnold was showing his bad tendencies. Remember that interception were he pretty much just gave the ball to the D-lineman? He he was showing his bad tendencies in all 3 wins. Then the 4th game happened and like most backup QBs the clock struck midnight.

Well if it goes badly this year Fitterer is next on the chopping block. So we’ll see.

He does blow by QBs a lot and he disappeared more than once during the season.

So begins the annual tradition of fans getting excited for players who couldn’t even get drafted and likely are just gonna flame out or end up as practice squad members. But most are just camp bodies. Right up there with fan training camp MVP and then he makes the team only to be cut shortly after and replaced. Like that RB we had a few years ago. Made the team, was cut shortly after and replaced.

I have been on the fire Fitt train since 2021. I though and still think we should have fired him with Rhule. So no I am not miserable. I just think he isn’t a good GM and these last 2 pick further show proof that he isn’t.

Fitt is bad at his job.

You “Tepper is meddling” people to chill. If Tepper meddles as you think then we would have traded up for Herbert, drafted Fields, not traded for Darnold. All that happened because Tepper let the football people do what they wanted. I think the same applies here. Tepper for sure has someone he wants but he will default to the football minds. TLDR: Tepper has and never did meddle. But considering some of the decisions Rhule and co made. Maybe he should have.

He isn’t made of glass. He is a damn grown ass man.

We don’t have a bad offensive line and the coaches can teach him to protect himself. People are overblowing the injury concerns.
