Although we can use a star Nickel like Stinnott we need a CB first then maybe a nickel. We got killed way too many times on 3rd and middle yardage plays last year which turned into first downs.

Canales will be looking at the next crop of QB's in case Young fails as he did in year one. I won't say Young will be pulled quickly cause Tepper is going to give him every chance to be the Number 1 QB in Carolina, but if he flops. I see another QB picked next year to give him competition. We also need to see if the new OL additions are going to perform to what we paid them or will we be disappointed again and watch Young running for his life as the walls come crashing in as last year. The first 5 games are going to be interesting.

Do we need a Nickel or a 2nd CB who can complement Horn. If he is a good Nickel maybe 3rd round.

They have no choice since they fired Wright in mid season. Maybe with the new staff in place and at least two years of the same coaching we can see what we have. We will know if Tepper made the wrong choice when the team made the choice to go after Young instead of Stroud. We might have had a win or two more with Stroud last year, but we still wouldn't have had our number 1 pick for this year either.

If I am paying someone I would pay Luvu and Brown. Brown was a beast in the 34 defense this past year.

I understand we had problems in the Back end this year due to injuries, but I just don't think he is ready to he a HC. We need to see this team get settled under a good DC before they are shipped off. Let's see how he does for 2 years in establishing this team as a 34 defense before thinking he is a head coach. Heck Tepper might not even keep this one for a year either.

Seems to me that is average but he was learning a new defense this past year. I would sign Brown to the money. I was not a fan of Brown when we took him but he has worked his butt off and he seems to thrive in the 34 defense this year.

we have a right to our opinions when he wasn't playing well. Since the Atlanta game where the commentator diagramed how the Defense was playing him and why his receivers weren't able to get separation. We have noticed a different style of play calling from Mr Brown.

The last two 1/4 games Mr Young has impressed me that he might make it as an NFL QB. I want to see a complete game from him but as of now I see him as the next QB for the Carolina Panthers.

I don't disagree, but the snapper and the holder never get any love. Today's weather made it even harder to do it right.

The snapper and holder on the field goal attempts for snapping the ball in such poor conditions where it needed to be, and having sure hands and setting the ball correctly so Eddie could make the field goals. If you never been a long snapper todays weather is terrible is making sure you get it to the holder with the right spin and location.

It is what it is. A "WIN!" An ugly win is just as good as a pretty win. I would have loved to see them at least try one run at the end zone, but this team needed a win badly, and the way things have gone this year we didn't need a turnover when we had the chance to win one. 3 knees and a made field goal made sure we got it.

Can it be rebuilt under the Tepper watch. What we seen so far is "NO!"

I don't disagree but heck Young is .500 going up against those who were drafted this past draft. The one to beat him was not even drafted. We do need another QB who can be worked with in case Young doesn't improve next year. We saw what happen with Corral. Still at 33 we need a young CB cause Horn and Jackson are too iffy to play a full season.

I say DB. Jackson is old now and Horn well he doesn't like playing the whole year.
