  1. He didn't have a rocket arm, but it was a good NFL arm - he could make every throw in the playbook. It was still good enough to hit bombs to Evans last season at 45 years old.
  2. Do the right thing and let your son support another franchise.
  3. He has 7 TDs through 3 games, so I'd say he's doing alright.
  4. Something about a stable door and a horse bolting comes to mind.
  5. Are posters really down for trading away MORE Draft capital to perpetuate this dumpster fire? Like, how unattractive do you want this job to be for the HC / GM we're going to have to hire in the offseason? No QB, no first round pick, a middling OLB that you're going to have to franchise tag (if the current GM doesn't massively overpay him) - why not add 'no second round pick' to that mix too, just to round it out?
  6. He can run routes, he just can't track a football. You use him within 10 yards of the LOS - screens / smokes / slants / drags etc. Yes, it gets predictable, but he's not your #1 option on any given play (that isn't a screen). They should also absolutely give him more carries.
  7. I'm genuinely done if they let Fitterer trade more picks and players. I just can't anymore.
  8. Every single one of them - and they SHOULD be fired because they green lit the trade and selection.
  9. You're already seeing players making business decisions and holding themselves out with niggles. They can see the writing on the wall, they're not daft.
  10. I dislike Tepper, but I'd have mad respect for him if he fired Fitterer and Reich during the Bye week and promoted Evero to interim-HC. It's clear as day that neither guy is competent and the Young trade / selection was a clusterfug. Own it and try to rectify it immediately, fug the conventional wisdom that you can't fire a first year HC etc - what's the point of being worth $6bn+ if you're not willing to pull the trigger on mistakes?
  11. If Johnson didn't want the job last year he's definitely not going to want it now!
  12. How is it a ridiculous throw? It's an absolutely routine NFL play. He actually makes it more difficult for himself with the 'off platform' aspect because his footwork sucks. It's a 10 yard throw across the middle of the field - sadly that's the only throw he's comfortable making at this level.
  13. Have you considered that Bryce Young is one of the most accurate QBs in the league?
  14. Nah, the hype around Young was unreal. "Unquestioned #1 overall pick" etc. To bust this badly, this quickly is Leaf territory.
  15. Did Manning look like he couldn't physically make half of the throws in the playbook?
  16. You've got to ask why the Coaching staff don't trust him to throw anything but screens a week after letting Dalton rip it all over the field....
  17. He could be built and move like a 22 year old Cam Newton - if he still had the noodle arm he's displayed so far in his NFL career I'd feel the same way about his long-term prospects as an NFL QB. I'd be looking to move him to TE.
  18. If Reich could consistently dial up plays where WRs were College open 15 yards down the field he wouldn't have been sacked by the Colts.
  19. It's getting to the point where I can see Young starring in a 30 for 30 in a few years time. "What if I told you that the #1 QB out of High School and the #1 overall pick in the NFL Draft washed out of the NFL in three years..."
  20. They knew all this going in - the blueprint was how the Saints had success with Brees... albeit Brees was 2 inches taller and had a stronger arm.
