He did the right thing on that catch - he had to come back for the ball so he ran out of bounds to save clock rather than trying to regain his balance and potentially get tackled inbounds trying to cut back upfield.

So you're calling our GM and HC delusional? Fair enough, to be honest.

Give me a reason to be excited about the future of this team

Good god there's zero zip on his throws. -
I see you didn't watch any of his College tape then.

Derrick Brown going after Mike Thomas after the game

Would have been more entertaining than the game we watched last night. -
Why did we trade 5 premium players for him if he's not 'that kinda prospect'?
-
Does Young have the arm to make those throws?

It's a fan base that has seen 1 winning season since 2015 and has the worst overall W/L record since 2018. We traded the farm for a QB in a Draft where there wasn't a generational QB talent. We then chose the physically limited kid, sold on the idea that he was so smart that he'd overcome his physical limitations. We've then seen him look like the NFL is a level too far for him - whilst the other two QBs we were linked to have shown potential. So yeah, it's that kind of fan base. They've run out of patience.

I hate to say I told you so. Everything we're seeing now was all over his College film. Fitterer will never be a GM again.

Which part of Young's performance tonight were you impressed with, oh wise one?
-
Only if the follow up question is why they drafted Young.
-
This is actually disgusting.

Is it too late to animate this one? It's dead.

Evero doesn't play aggressively on defence.
-
This is such a talent depleted team.
-
So even the HC is on record as saying this isn't a rebuilding year.
-
Too late.

I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. It often takes 3 years to see how Draft picks turn out, but he lost me with the Young trade. On the back of not trading Burns for two first round picks that's nothing short of criminal mismanagement.
-
Fingers crossed the Bucs are happy with him and don't look to upgrade the position.

The clock resets if you Draft Richardson and hire Steichen (for example). Both have upside, but you know they're learning on the job. It doesn't reset when you hire Reich and draft 'the most NFL ready QB' in Young with 5 premium picks. You're very much in 'win now' mode. That trade took all the air out of the season for me.
