    I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. It often takes 3 years to see how Draft picks turn out, but he lost me with the Young trade. On the back of not trading Burns for two first round picks that's nothing short of criminal mismanagement.

    The clock resets if you Draft Richardson and hire Steichen (for example). Both have upside, but you know they're learning on the job. It doesn't reset when you hire Reich and draft 'the most NFL ready QB' in Young with 5 premium picks. You're very much in 'win now' mode. That trade took all the air out of the season for me.

    IF he is that franchise guy he becomes incredibly expensive by the time you've assembled a team around him, which closes your SB window before it's even opened (unless he's top 3 in the NFL good).

    It's like when you get that 5* QB freshman - not many Head Coaches are going to risk upsetting him by playing the 3* Senior who's in line to take over from the departing starter.

    He speared him in the head - in College he's sitting the rest of this game and half of next week for targeting.

    That's a dirty hit - clearly he's getting the Cam Newton treatment by NFL officials (and players) i.e. he's big and fast, therefore, he can take it.

    He was a hybrid player as a rookie. They moved him to S full time last year.

    He's not overhyped, he's misused. He's excellent around the LOS. If you're calling defences that ask him to carry a WR 20 yards down the field then you need to have your play calling duties removed. He's a LB all day, imo.

    He's literally never called plays before in a real game so of course he's 'in name only'.

    I was going to say, it's easily rectified if the players feel strongly about it - go on strike.
