  1. The roster is a damn sight better now than when he took over. It's disingenuous to say otherwise.
  2. Man with that kind of insight you should be in an NFL Front Office rather than posting on a message board. It was seen as a coup by everyone. It didn't work out - hindsight is always 20-20.
  3. Give over, we aren't the Raiders or Philly. This is a Charmin soft fan base, he'd happily stroll through the tailgate and come out the other end unscathed.
  4. I assume he'd fulfil the Rooney Rule requirement. There's no way he should get the job full time.
  5. Why even trade him at that point? You're essentially giving away your best player for free. Why? What's the thought process behind that?
  6. Sorry, was anything substantial shared in those tweets? I certainly don't think so. Let's hope the follow up tweets are more interesting.
  7. A good (not great) QB would have this team at .500, regardless of the coach, so yes we're close. That said you're nowhere without a QB, so who knows where we'll be next season.
  8. If the next coach has a win percentage under .300 in Yr 3 he'd expect to be fired too. What have we won, 1 in 13?
  9. The only pieces people would want to trade for are the players you wouldn't want to lose - and they'd expect them for pennies on the dollar. No thanks.
  10. To be fair the current stud is on the injury report every week with a one niggle or another and 75% of the fan base thinks that the team has ran him into the ground (even though he's barely played for 2 years). Can't win.
  11. Absolutely disagree that we don't have a quality roster - and trading away McCaffrey for pennies on the dollar doesn't make it any stronger either. poo article.
  12. Well he can't throw the ball accurately, his passes are frequently tipped at the LOS, he locks on to his first read and he turtles up at the first sign of pressure - so I'd suggest he'd look much the same.
  13. The sad thing is the team talent has improved significantly under Rhule's tenure. If you played this year's OLine with last year's Darnold (those first 4 games before we broke him by asking him to play behind turnstiles) then we might all be singing a different tune. Instead he's now broken and we're watching Mayfield poo the bed every week and wasting a good (but not great) defence.
  14. The Jets didn't have to trade Darnold - they hadn't activated the last year of his contract with the guaranteed money. I'm sure they'd have been as happy with him sitting on the bench backing up Wilson if it came to it.
  15. You realise Dorsey is a first time OC in his first year, right? Didn't we just make the mistake of hiring an inexperienced HC?
  16. Unless they give up multiple first round picks it makes zero sense.
  17. He's been crap all year - can't process reads. Lashlee's simple system is all he's good for. He's just lost his job to Jake Garcia.
  18. The QB is a big part of it, but just look at the Browns game. Rhule turtled up when he could have gone for the win. That's a mentality that's rife throughout the franchise.
  19. Don't talk about hamstrings around McCaffrey. In-fact don't mention any soft tissues around that guy.
