The Vikings CBs were definitely running the routes for our WRs yesterday. My biggest concern, and I think why Rhule said that there will be major changes to play calling and more of a focus on running the ball, is that the Oline simply can't hold up in the passing game. Every time it's an obvious passing situation I'm terrified for our QB.

Bridgewater's performances fell off a cliff after his injury. -

They couldn't wait to get rid of Bridgewater because he was clearly toxic. Maybe they'll move on from Darnold - or hopefully they'll address the iOL and give him a chance. He's flashed way more than Bridgewater ever did. -
Watching the MNF highlights makes me sad. Allen just got sacked after holding on to the ball for 6 seconds. The next play he overthrew the WR after holding onto the ball for 5 seconds. Everyone thinks he's a franchise, can't miss, QB 'cos he's playing behind a brick wall. Meanwhile this fanbase thinks our guy is trash because he can't put up MVP numbers when he has pressure in his face every down.

No more retreads or reclamation projects at QB

Moton is a RT. He's also nowhere near as good at RT as many of you want to believe. He's a good NFL starter - nothing more. Don't ruin him by asking him to relearn his technique and play LT. This coaching staff dabbled with it in pre-season and didn't like it at all (and yes the Cowboys game tells you they don't see Christensen as a LT either if they were willing to move Moton off his spot to accommodate him). -
How extensively will the offense need to be rebuilt this off-season?
OldhamA replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
At a minimum we need to sign a C (I'd give Elflein a run at C for the rest of the season to see what he's got), at least one OG and realistically a LT. Beyond that I'd look for another option at TE and a competent backup QB. -

That'll be fun when their new QB (acquired in a franchise crippling deal) gets crippled behind this Oline. -
To be fair LSU mostly recruits itself.
-
The only way this happens is if the $17m buyout of Ed O has bankrupted LSU. I seriously doubt it has so they'll be looking elsewhere for a HC. LOL if they give this rookie OC the reigns though. I'd love to see that.

Panthers fan base "Man, trading a 3rd round pick (receiving a 5th in return) and a future 6th round pick for 2 potential starting CBs is mortgaging our future!" Also Panthers fan base "Get the rapist, you can't win without a Franchise QB in this league! 3 first round picks and 2 defensive starters? Do it".
-
Turns out when you let away fans run amok in your stadium, poo happens.
-
6 games in to Year 2 and half the fan base is off the train. Not that you'd notice as half of BOA is sold to away fans.

Whatever fits that posters' narrative.

Taylor literally just gave up the game winning TD...

The pass rush has disappeared and I don't know why.

We need a patented Cook fumble.
-
I don't think he was trying to be flashy, I just think he's weak for a DE. Bounces off a lot of wouldbe sacks.
-
Burns missed a gimmie sack.
-
You want him to get the ball out quickly when he's sat in his own fuging endzone. Especially with an Oline that has seen him sacked 4 times already.
-
I'm not saying he's calling a good game, but at least he's calling the plays.
-
....calling plays?

We've stopped getting pressure on the QB - that's why we're no longer elite on D.
