  1. I saw tmac floating and jogging on a route across the middle earlier too.
  2. Yea i would prefer to just say young wr room. The talented is yet to be seen.
  3. You dont go to the ball or in front of the defender when you're waiting on the ball to get to you to body catch it.
  4. Gotta love bend but dont break defensive coordinators. Hand them 6 or 7 free yards every play.
  5. I really dont understand Nijman over Christensen at lt at all. Nijman has been terrible every time and hes more of a RT anyway.
  6. I could definitely see that. I really dont see a way he makes it physically playing a high percentage of plays on both sides of the ball.
  7. I personally disagree. I think he will end up being a better wr than cb. He has elite body control and is great at adjusting to balls. He reminds me of a poor man's Justin jefferson as far as build and strengths.
  8. The order of the reporting maybe, but they werent happy with his conditioning and then put him on a workout program which he apparently worked on. There is smoke there regardless of what you believe because its not a totally normal thing to put a player on a team regulated workout plan, it can happen though.
  9. Well the ground cant cause a fumble so to me it seems weird that it can cause an incompletion.
  10. One is happening in the field of play and one isnt.
  11. Yea it just doesnt work well in the modern defense with 2 deep safeties all the time.
  12. I think this is kind of puff because he is clearly focused on bringing in receivers that fit his old style.
  13. I wasn't comparing them, you were. Nor was I comparing their overall game in any way. I was comparing the single thing you pulled up as your argument.
  14. Perfect example. Now compare the receivers. Here's a secret for you. Deep balls and how good they are is actually at minimum 50% on the receiver. Their separation, their adjustment to the ball thrown, their catch rate, etc. The Bengals receivers greatly help those numbers. The Panthers receivers have historically very much so hurt those numbers. Deep balls are the most overrated thing to judge a qb on that there is.
  15. Hes gotten his ass handed to him every time I remember him playing.
  16. We are obsessed with big straight line speed receivers.
  17. We have had one of the worst groups of skill players in the NFL since he came in the league. Maybe not this year, we will see, but no one is proven.
  18. I think you're making the opposite of the argument you're trying to.
  19. All the stuff about Horn being uncoverable were from the practices without pads. That said, I still think he could develop in to a player over time.
  20. This is more of a question than a statement. Could overly hanging on to pretty good players be a problem for us though?
  21. We dont care about getting receivers that actually get open. We show that every year in the draft. That's not a quality our front office values in receivers.
  22. I think it only helps. They are still just calling plays from the same playbook and you aren't showing wrinkles or tendencies in preseason. They dont watch tape of the other team ahead of time so there is really no chess to it. I dont think it hurts in any way.
