  1. Hoping BY is good. The interior OL should be left in Jacksonville. All that being said. The possibility of something like this was always an inevitability given his size.
  2. Burns makes a nice play and then immediately gets injured. Typical
  3. Bagent is garbage. But Minshew is a decent starter in a pinch. And honestly Will Levis is looking like he's going to be a pretty solid starter at minimum. I'm trying to have some standards here for our #1 pick. We have to at least compete with the worst. To not do so is unacceptable. Bryce has 14 starts under his belt now. These are the games you're supposed to make look like some kind of fight.
  4. We are not ran or coached well. But we do have some talent. Scott Fitterer is a buffoon who cannot draft to save his life but it should not have taken 15 weeks to score 30 points. The Jaguars have a worse defense than the Packers btw.
  5. The Jags have been a mediocre team at best with Lawrence. Without him? There's absolutely no excuse to lose this game. Anywho. On the Bryce front. Guys. There are numerous legitimate criticisms of Bryce Young to be made. But you don't have to shitpost yourself into oblivion to do so. This is getting embarrassing. Take a break. Seriously.
  6. Intriguing candidate for sure. I look at him and consider how DeMeco Ryans has done and assembled his staff in Houston. As much as I like Evero there are things to acknowledge about our defense this year. Burns is a ghost. Chinn is an afterthought. Our run defense is 21st in the league we are 30th in scoring defense and 31st in redzone defense. All things to ponder without rose colored glasses on.
  7. I can definitely agree with some of his points about the Panthers and the circumstances here. But he nor we know who Ben Johnson will be as a head coach. I have him or Slowik as my top options. Mike MacDonald is intriguing as well.
  8. And they're gonna cut his ass? Damn!
  9. Annnnd there's the Darnold we know.
  10. Sam Darnold out here throwing touchdowns.
  11. Seems like every few weeks he's either heralded as a genius we were fools to let slip away or he's a scapegoat for their problems. I'm sure it doesn't help his QB has 4 turnovers though.
  12. @TrevorLaurenceTime22 you already threw a tantrum and quit the team and the huddle when we traded McCaffrey. You don't want the smoke.
  13. Guy is calling others clowns while hating on Lamar Jackson and caping for Brock Purdy.
  14. Can you name a running back from that team?
  15. Trent Dilfer. That was going on 22 years ago my man. Coincidentally can you name a running back on that team?
  16. McCaffrey is certainly living his best life in the Bay Area. No nagging injuries either. He's where he always wanted to be. Good for him. He is highly unlikely to win a SB all by his lonesome though. Even LaDainian Tomlinson couldn't do it himself. You still need a good QB. Purdy is a more polished Sam Darnold.

  18. If you're a Panthers fan you should want him to succeed. It's that simple. If you find yourself perusing various threads today you'll see the conversation on Bryce Young ends up between two groups with not much wiggle room. The next two games and next season hopefully show us the improvement and promise we seek.
  19. There was one poster here who wanted the team and our QB to be bad and he basically asked to be banned apparently. There's nothing wrong with being skeptical. It's the Panthers after all. But we also have to be able to plainly acknowledge improvement when we see it and not die on a hill because of foolish pride or ego. In that vein. I have to ask. Mr completely please take a few breathers from all this and give it a rest. You're making anyone with even a healthy level of skepticism look like a troll by proximity. Enough is enough. There were some throws Bryce made that definitely have me feeling better about his future with the right head coach. He had the aura of a guy that felt in command in the second half. That is encouraging. I don't know what his ceiling is and that's one area where I will differ from the folks who tend to be on the extreme end of things. I'd love to see him become a hall of famer for us but I feel it may be more likely he will end up a high end starter who will be more dependent on the moving parts around him. With the right coach to grow with maybe more. Beyond that what I want to see organizationally is to invest heavily in our offense. Pay Derrick Brown whatever he wants yes. Tag Burns and if we get a strong trade offer do what you must. But invest BIG in the offense. I'm tired of the pendulum swinging to the defense. With what we've given up for Bryce we must go big or go home building an offense around him and that begins with the oline and more rushing/receiving threats. Hire a real GM please.
  20. Well now that you mention Sam. His new low performance today could serve as a cautionary moment to us about not getting too wrapped up in individual games for a young QB. He has at times this season looked like a promising possible franchise QB for them. Now look at how low he's sunk. Sounds a bit like a rerun of Taylor Heinicke from last year. Let's see how Bryce and this offense perform the next two games. Hopefully we continue to move forward and move the ball well. But let's not kid ourselves. It is possible we see another step back to some degree.
  21. Improvement that is very nice to see. I must say though it is amusing that people like Thomas Brown again after the Saints debacle.
