How dangerous is Willis as a runner? What makes him special?
frankw replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
They're all huge risks even the ones some fans want to anoint as the next great hall of famer like Andrew Luck. Desperation means we will roll the dice anyway. It might not be Willis but it will happen and just because it might be a QB you happen to like more does not negate the risk level. -

It would be beneficial to acknowledge you have a blind spot in this particular discussion. Everyone has bias. Willis is one prospect that reveals it more for whatever reason. If Darnold can get chance after chance after chance after chance and even someone like Sam Bradford can fleece the NFL for 130 million dollars in career earnings I think we can at least wait until the kid sees an NFL field. -

Sam Darnold has four seasons of NFL tape showing very clearly that he does not have the ability to process on field to be a successful NFL quarterback. You can argue any of these rookies may fail but they have yet to play a down whereas Sam is a bust plain as day. -

Favre has a career 62% completion through two decades. I legitimately think we may need a separate subforum for the football purists and old timers who just want to reminisce about how the game used to be played. -
Lawd, Panthers getting dogged on a FB memes page

And some folks want to watch another season of that. -
Very ugly. Maybe they don't need to be putting a microphone in front of anymore 90 year old dinosaurs.

Well people are very upset and the nature of Haskins passing certainly is a factor in the response seen. It was not necessary and he saw fit to remove it so that should confirm for anyone confused.

Fitterer on trading out of the #6 pick
frankw replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ah yes the linebacker who didn't "fit in" with our culture while we hyped up Jermaine Carter. You need a good sense of humor to be a Panthers fan these days.- 107 replies

Fitterer on trading out of the #6 pick

Until proven otherwise Henderson is the same as he was in Jacksonville. So for those keeping score we've been rolled over by the Jets and the Jags in two boneheaded trades. What logical person would look at that and say anyone in this regime is doing great?- 107 replies

Apparently Schefter is getting some heat for the initial tweet seen here. The nature of instant news I suppose.
-
Far too young. Just awful. RIP.

Yeah he's earned his stripes. The other couple of Darnold fans that followed in with him snuck out in the dark of night. Especially that one who particularly disliked Cam and openly talked about what a jerk he was and hated his clothes and his personality. What a doozy of a pick they chose to fanboy out for. Sam Darnold

I remember this take. "We just got our franchise QB and our franchise CB in one swoop BOYYYSSS!" Now we need a new QB and we still need a left tackle.

Let's revisit.

Fitterer on trading out of the #6 pick
frankw replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah all those years of hating Hurney has broken some folks. Now they will worship the first new guy that enters the building. This man thought it was a good idea to trade for Sam Darnold who has revealed himself to not only be a terrible quarterback but an entitled brat. At best you can give Fitterer an incomplete grade. Praise? No.- 107 replies

Oof bench is not holding up their end of the bargain.
-
2-10. Hopefully he has something ready for the second half.

Comparing the wealthiest owner in the NFL to a run of the mill deck builder lmao. Never underestimate how many weirdos there are out there who will shine shoes for a billionaire. Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos have fanboys like this too.

LaMelo dialed in early on the road. Followed by some airballs and ugly turnovers. Need this group on the same level.
-
Sounds good actually.
-
LaMelo with 301 three pointers. Just get in the playoffs and take it one step at a time. And please ffs give these young players some trust get them in the game. Bouknight Jones and Thor are ballers.

The more Sam Darnold talks about himself the more you can see why he has remained the same. Can't improve if you see no flaws. The Panthers staff didn't help matters handing him the keys sight unseen and then coddling him throughout camp and preseason. We need to get both him and whoever was pushing the hardest for him out of the building asap.

If the Hornets actually do trade for him that will tell me that not only is Jordan still meddling but he has not learned anything. As such this franchise would not be going anywhere good until he sells.
