Some of the same issues are present and will probably hold us back but it was to be expected. Playoffs are a possibility but I'm going to be realistic about our chances in the East. All I ask is they make it worth watching. At least we have the Hornets to fall back on should the Panthers keep doing what they do.

Brady may be the goat but he's an old man whom most of us thought was done last year when he was throwing pick sixes to start the season. Darnold is a fourth year 3rd overall pick looking more and more like the bust he was in NY and if you got a problem with him being held to a standard not to directly lose us games maybe football isn't your sport. I've seen the most pitiful excuses around here in the last day or so and it's a joke. He is tied for third in interceptions and 5 of those have been within two games. He needs to get much better as a passer regardless of our oline.

This is direct pressure from the middle of the line in the quarterbacks face yet it resulted in a 61 yard touchdown pass. Sam Darnold threw a game sealing pick toward a receiver surrounded by three defenders from a clean pocket. Quit with the excuses he isn't a rookie anymore.

The longer throw was in triple coverage get a grip. Zach Wilson is a rookie Sam is in his fourth year still making the same mistakes. Raise your expectations.

I agree losing to a one win team at home and only putting up 15 points is extremely embarrassing.

We wish it was just the third quarter but the staff sat on a two point lead well into the fourth. They also clearly wanted to take the ball out of Sam's hands for a time after the second pick. If we had a better oline maybe we could have continued to run the ball successfully with Chuba and win the game but when your qb is reverting back to dumpster status it's not going to end well.

This is true. The Greg Little miss really bit us in the ass. If we get the right ol that year we are in much better position. But the new gm's don't ever inherit a stellar roster out of the gate so we should have been a little more proactive with our oline selections this year. But instead we coasted and now both of the linemen we brought in are hurt and we had no fallback for Paradis who has been on a decline since leaving Denver.

I don't think we're fixing this oline through one draft maybe a C but as bottom as it is now it may be 2023 before we finally get it anywhere near what it needs to be. Hey we love our defense but this is what happens when you spend an entire draft on one side of the ball while your oline deteriorates.

May as well have Adam Gase in there too for all the fans here that couldn't wait to blame him for Darnold's poor decisions.

Looking at returns so far identifying oline talent does not seem to be a strong point of this regime unless you're a homer.

It was either draft or Sam or the farm for Watson before everyone found out about the skeletons in his closet. But yes Rhule and Fitterer were plenty happy to acquire Sam unless you think they are just liars. But if you want to really get down to it the qb Rhule and Brady chose first was Teddy they talked about him effusively to the press about that process and how he was exactly what they were looking for so
