  1. Jets completely owning the Panthers media wise. We basically created the concept and gave up on it, other teams are embracing it
  2. PJ is ahead on the depth chart. Last year he got the first half and Grier got the second half. Probably something similar unless McAdoo sees things differently and convinces Rhule to mix things up
  3. If Brown and YGM can actually make an impact that would be great. Biggest concern is the depth instantly turns into undersized Jags. Gotta pick up at least a couple bigger bodies or else we're getting ran on 30 times a game losing the time of posession. Panthers always playing Whac-a-mole with weaknesses
  4. At least Corral will be throwing to Shi/Zysltra/Kirkwood/etc tmrw. Guys that know what they're doing, so should be a fair shot at showing what he's got/learned so far. The line could be a clusterfug but other than that he's in a good position to surpass PJ and create some noise to be the QB2
  5. This is the O-line that finished the day w the 1's- From just outside the 20, Mayfield dropped back again. An offensive line of (from left to right) Ikem Ekwonu, Brady Christensen, Bradley Bozeman, Austin Corbett and Taylor Moton earned Mayfield enough time for him to wait on receiver DJ Moore, who was running a shallow route from left to right. Mayfield delivered an on-time ball and Moore took off 15 yards untouched to the end zone. 6. Ok so he's a 24 year old Big Kat lol. Good to know. Even that dude has chilled to an acceptable level aside from pointless random OP topics
  7. Draft position? Can't stay healthy though. I'm glad they at least have Shi over CJ Saunders. Much more upside
  8. Also two starting tight ends? Running 12 personnel as the base?
  9. They gotta beef up that D-line. Luckily a position where you can pretty much plug and play guys immediately
  10. That D-line looks like even more of a concern when you see it in print
  11. Corral as 4th QB is I guess a formality for the vets? I do like Higgins listed as WR3/4 with TMJ
  12. https://www.panthers.com/team/depth-chart
  13. It's pretty slim pickings until camp cuts. Everyones looking at the same few functional FA's right now, and they're basically all past their prime.
  14. They have plenty of WR's to get a look at. Need to see Saunders do his slot thing against guys that are actually going to hit him before Rhule declares him a starter
  15. Corral and PJ are taking all the reps tmrw. Day off for the 1's and 2's
  16. Rhule pretty much said the starters won't play much in week 2 because of the joint practice reps. I'm guessing a couple series for Baker/Sam and then pretty even split for Corral and PJ the rest of the way
  17. Yeah I'm in no way defending this staff getting the chance to gamble on QB every year, I hope they suck it up and cut Sam so Corral can get more reps and show if he can be the guy or not at some point. At the very least Baker will be more entertaining to watch than the last few QB's since Cam. Can't handle many more 8 yard comeback routes on 3rd and 10
  18. He was ranked 11th after the 2020 season over Carr, Cousins, Ryan, Stafford, Dak, etc. He deserves a healthy year to prove that wasn't a fluke. He was still better than Sam last year playing with shoulder and foot injuries since week 2
  19. That Rhule and Shaq basketball thing they just posted on twitter is garbage as well. Balboni does hint towards the end of the huddle thing that they're doing actual camp confidential videos soon, Rhule just looks like a clown on tape vs Rivera regardless of how good the team is
  20. It is super dumb that we're over the cap next year considering how young our roster is and the guys getting paid big bucks. That aside Watsons cap hit is like $9M this year through allocating a ton of his salary to bonus money. If Baker is their guy his cap hit could be $5-7M next year. We definitely can't afford the $30M franchise tag so that kinda sucks in making it an all or nothing decision
  21. I'm pretty sure Joe Brady only had 10 plays in his playbook. McAdoo's playbook is like one of those restaurant menus where you have like 200 combinations of what to order
  22. The 2019 camp videos were 10000x better than this crap
  23. Just as I predicted instead of a legit camp confidential they're trying to piece together 20 minutes of twitter clips everyones already seen. New media team or whoever is limiting their access sucks
  24. He's either coddling Darnold or not ready to admit they failed on evaluating him and handing him the starting job and 5th year option last year.
