  1. I'm not comparing Lamar to Jimmy G or Willis. I think Pickett his ceiling is about Jimmy G. He's about a second round talent in a good year and you could make the same case for Willis. That was also said about Lamar Jackson but the wild card was Jackson's upside and if he could capitalize on it. Well if Jackson figures it out and he did how good is he then? He changes the position and forces teams to adjust to a whole new scheme. They can't all out blitz him like they did us all last year and I think the same applies to Willis. He isn't as fast as Jackson but he's faster than Hurts for the eagles. What I'm gambling on if I'm overpicking which you would be doing with Willis and Pickett is upside.
  2. How do you win an MVP and not be elite. He passes well enough.
  3. I will say this. Even tho Willis isn't rated a generational top 10 quick his upside is. No one saw Lamar Jackson coming and many wanted him to move to WR. He doesn't have to have the highest credentials to change the game. All Lamar did was become the NFL MVP and most dynamic weapon in the league. If you think the ravens can't win a super bowl with Jackson your just stuck in a old way of thinking.
  4. Also sir stop trolling Sheena quick lol
  5. He knows about as much as any other talking head. Hits and misses at about the same frequency.. he had Josh Allen qb1 and others didn't. So it's fair to say he's about average.
  6. I think that's a terrible comparison. Cam to Willis? One is 6'5 the other 6'0. 250 to 220? One a power goalline runner while Willis will mostly depend on his speed. Dominating usually depends on the team and not just one player... did Wentz and Josh Allen dominate in their tenure against lesser competition? If he and picket are =in terms of accuracy.. Willis has a stronger arm and is faster plus has more upside...are you trying to get a Jimmy G or the next Lamar Jackson? I mean if your going to overdraft either way
  7. I think people are over blowing this first meeting. He is the first pro day of the week. Let's see how he reacts to Willis today.. who I expect will jump off the chats with his arm.
  8. Just because something hasn't been done doesn't mean it can't. Before cam most of the league didn't really care for a dual threat qb. Afterwards it basically became the norm. If 90% of the league have pocket qbs of course it is going to be rarer for running qbs to win Super Bowls. Also each individual is different. I haven't heard one person say Willis isn't accurate. Where as they killed cam about it.
  9. They hype is his cannon arm. He's fairly accurate as far as option based qbs go. And he is being compared to a right handed micheal vick by Mel kiper... I think the tools to work with are exceptional. If he was 6'3 we wouldn't even be discussing who qb1 is.
  10. Well his completion percentage is higher than Pickett. And a lot of the stuff you are saying about Willis they said about cam. But Willis seems to be fairly accurate.
  11. Umm Carson wentz, Josh Allen, he'll Warren moon, Jerry Rice, all those guys come from lesser programs. Talent and traits don't change.
  12. This Pickett nonsense makes me sick. He isn't qb1. The pick isn't Pickett at 6. Willis is ahead of Pickett according to everyone who saw them at the senior bowl and combine..
  13. I feel like the age old myth of guys needing time to develop is dead. If your drafted in the first round this past decade these kids are playing. Sooner than later... I think either way your coming into the season with darnold as your starter if you draft either of these kids. That said given the same amount of time I would rather swing for the fences if we are forcing a qb. I think Willis even has a higher completion percentage.
  14. Everyone keeps saying Pickett but everything I have seen from senior bowl and combine on say Willis is clearly qb1. Pickett and Willis would have been taken behind every first rounder from last year. That puts them around second round caliber or Jimmy G range. If that's the case I gamble on upside which Willis has more of.
  15. Well wishes... not a more respected huddler all time than Mr. Scott.
  16. Guy had one of the worst senior bowl arguably him and zappy.. I don't want this guy.
  17. Whoa dude.. all 3 of these guys aren't generational. Matter of fact I haven't heard one of them mentioned as generational all have flaws.
  18. To be fair your comparing a massive guard to a center. Centers are generally smaller. But I agree he is small even still.
  19. Everett brown and Brian burns went to the dame school. Schools don't determine a players traits and ability.
  20. Yeah But with 4-3 personnel. 3-4 works well for many teams but takes a commitment. Not a overnight thing plenty of the top defenses in the league run a 3-4.
  21. He looked bad at the senior bowl. Had the arm but accuracy was a mess. For that we can just roll with willis..
  22. Not couch potato logic just pure logic period. Yes a sack and not whiffing is ideal but even getting to the quarterback disrupting the flow of things is a challenge. Someone who consistently creates havoc. Who buys even a half a second more time for another guy to get off a block or just make the timing go off balance that can be all the difference in the world. Your the guy saying you missed the sack and he turns around like yeah where were u getting pancaked?
  23. This is a bad narrative. Even if He over shoots the play near misses whatever disruption is production. Meaning if I can get the quarterback out of his comfort zone or out of sync good things can happen. Just because he doesnt always finish doesnt make that any worse. your talking about a guy who consistently ranks near the top of the league here. Personally this whole thread about trading him and those saying he is overrated are not very high on football smarts.
