  1. i don't see it. the only win i can see happening is maybe colts...and that's a big MAYBE.
  2. not really. not scoring did. punting guaranteed no score. going for it on 4th gave them a chance.
  3. i fully expect the panthers to lose, but you gotta love everything we're watching right now.
  4. win or lose, THIS is what we should have been seeing from game one.
  5. i would have traded brian burns. even if i made exactly the same moves he did up to that point, that trade alone wipes the slate clean and allows me to redirect. not sure what went on behind the scenes, but signing d'onta foreman would have been a top priority for me. last seasons second half run game should have been built upon. if you knew you were going to draft a rookie qb, a stout run game is paramount. it may not have been his call, but as GM i would have been screaming to keep steve wilks. what we saw the second half of last season is exactly what you want to build on.
  6. wilks didn't have his own staff, players, offense/defensive schemes, or any real time to set things his way....yet, he literally stepped in and took over someone elses trash and created a watchable competitive team. win or lose, the product he put on the field is the stuff you build on...not the shitshow we see now. this is easily shaping up to be the absolute worst panther product we've ever seen.
  7. as bad as bryce has been, all of this is on the coaching staff. wilks and company took whatever was given them and made it competitve and watchable.
  8. i'm sick and tired of hearing how smart young is. if he's so smart, give him a clip board and have him learn. he can't play. period.
  9. the nfl stopped using retirement papers. any retirement announcement, letter, or papers is more for publicity than it is anything official. players literally can come and go as they please.
  10. ouch. about 5 years ago, i had surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, bicep tendon, and labrum in my left arm. it helped alleviate some of the pain and discomfort, but my shoulder is no where near back to what it used to be...and that's after nearly two years of physical therapy. at this point, my left arm is more a decorative piece than it is a useful body part.
  11. beating the seahawks will always be the first thing that pops in my mind when i think about that season.
  12. i'm just happy to see him looking comfortable in the pocket.
  13. you seriously don't know who steve wilkes is? you know...the berklee college of music professor. i understand people don't want to take another chance on a head coach candidate with a college background, but dude specializes in percussion. he even wrote a book on it. his resume screams keep pounding. there's no way tepper passes on this guy.
  14. look for more players to push for this. fully guaranteed contracts have been the quiet elephant in the room that got tiptoed around for a long time. the nfl has tried to ease into it via the draft and slowly increasing guaranteed money % on new contracts. then out of nowhere... ....here come the browns.
  15. maybe because it's still fresh in my mind, but baker is the worst. i've never seen a qb look absolutely deer in headlights lost. sometimes i swear he seems surprised that the ball in his hands. it's like he has a ptsd episode at every snap. i'd be shocked if he is in the nfl after this season.
  16. i honestly want to see darnold back under center. watching pj gives me anxiety. you just know a meltdown is coming. watching mayfield just pisses me off. it's been so long since darnold has negatively impacted my game watching experience until i'm willing to give him the chance to remind me of how he does it.
  17. so no one is talking about how travis kelce lost his poo on national tv, took his helmet off as he was walking off the field, and threw it like he was trying to punch a hole in time and space?
  18. i thought rhule had the final word on the roster?
  19. i still can't wrap my head around 32 yards of offense.
  20. good enough to be up 2-3 scores. walker just isn't executing.
