Getting Crunch Time for the Panthers and Brian Burns
csx replied to 45catfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
This logic shouldn't need to be explained. -
I'm not claiming Young is not short but his combine height was 5-foot-10 1/8. Why are we talking about sub 5'9" qbs? Kyler Murray and Young are exactly the same height. Why are yall going on about this shortest in 60s years when we have official measurements at our fingertips to show theres another thecsame height right now? Who was also #1 overall ?

Whats the attraction of 2 short QBs?

I suppose trading him is my preference but I think it's pretty unlikely we get anything noteworthy for him given the contract he thinks hes worth. rather indifferent. If Morgan meant what he said I don't see him fitting the description of the type of player he mentioned wanting. -

I've had a number of friends work for or with BooneOakley in the past -
I'd say BPA. This will take several years at best to fix. We need talent everywhere before we contend for anything. I'm more concerned with seeing strong OL and DL play at this stage

We don't have a first.

We don't have any perceived needs in my opinion. They are all genuine.

Locked on Panthers: Why the Panthers should pay Derrick Brown

So was Herbert. Though my point was that the number 1 pick isn't the magic pill to get the best QB. -

He's certainly never been terrible. Where did that come from? -

Herbert has been better than Lawrence -
Nobody is taking on an extended Burns contract and trading those picks on top of that. That ship has sailed.

I'm guessing he told Shanahan to fug off.

As alleged by every old man about younger generation since the stone ages.

McDermott is still a zone guy and always has been. That is his lineage. Both him and Rivera were under Jim Johnson who was well know for his zone coverage defense. So was McDermotts first DC Leslie Frazier (well known zone guy) and now Babich (who followed from Carolina) the current Bills DC
