  1. Heck, he's been so bad, our phones still don't want to remember the name and keep autocorrecting to Bruce.
  2. This is what bad drafting will cause. Long are the days where we had a legit core, which we even maintained during consistent mediocrity. Hunt OT, Lewis OG, Brown DL - known commodities worth staying a while longer. That's about it right now. The 2024 Rookies - continue to develop and see through. They've seemed promising. Of the rest, there are a few okay parts like (Horn, BC, Icky) but that list dries up quickly.
  3. Media: ”Bryce is a point guard to play immediately, he’ll make others better. Carolina is the perfect spot for him over HOU” ”Just give him time he has poise and is a processor” ”Y’all just aren’t seeing it - he’s got it, you’re failing him” ”Carolina gave him no help, it’s the worst situation possible for him” ”They should have never started him off the bat, they should have eased the little sweet boy in. They ruined him. He should have learned behind a vet” (gets put behind a vet) ”Bryce should start again”
  4. This guy again? lol (Donnally not Bryce) If he's not our guy, there's little reason to keep him. We saw a glimpse again with a few plays - this kid is not coming back in to do anything effective. They also see him 4 solid practices a week with the second team and are still this cagey/meh. My best guess is that he's gone for a conditional mid-rounder package by the deadline. Browns would be fun- they also have 10 picks in this next draft so it wouldn't be much. A 4th that could become a 3rd and a 6th.
  5. They’re honestly better. Coen is the truth and Godwin is in the Kupp role. It’s pretty nice what they’ve got rolling. Running game is 10x better this year too.
  6. I wouldn’t blame anyone to just become a general football fan and watch what’s entertaining. It’s fine. Bandwagon another squad if you will too… It’s also looking like a crap 2025 draft so it’s not even an interesting offseason to get jazzed up for. Yesterday reminded us we are very very far away from being competitive. It was only 10-0, with Daniels out, against Mariota and one of the worst defenses in the league. And we got blown out 30-7 from that point on. I feel like this is cruel punishment for us thinking Rhule was so terrible. The universe is like, “you think that’s bad? Hold my beer” We have maybe 2 of 22 starting spots in a spot where we can roll into next year comfortable.
  7. I sometimes wish that Tepper did a big uni and logo refresh when he bought the team so that everything was preserved from the better times. Those times of mediocrity and the occasional playoff run.
  8. I'd prefer going after a guy who is somewhat of a more known commodity, even if the ceiling isn't anything notable. Could realistically see us going with Stidham, Lock, or Rush type and letting a rookie (R1-2) sit.
  9. Gotta think his head was thinking about the insane hit that could've happened if that grabbed that. This game is turning fast on NYJ
  10. We're setting him up for some easy yards, but he's putting out good effort and doesn't look out of his depth. Had a few more rookie speedbumps at times with blocking assignments, but he doesn't look terrible. Speaking of TEs - Ian Thomas, that dude, that dude can go.
  11. Yeah, that was one of the lesser talented defenses in the league and an offense with Marcus Mariota (It was only 10-0 when he came in) and we lost 40-7. That was like really really really bad.
  12. I don't think I've ever disliked a player more based on lack of ability to make an impact than Ian Thomas. This is his seventh year here. 7!!!!
  13. GB/HOU and DET/MIN both pretty fun games.
  14. Finding the guys in that good tier that just need a bit of tapping into is key. No matter the position, we haven’t been able to land the Tuli, Brents, Byron Young, Kobie Turner, T Stevenson’s of the world. We keep just missing in that and zeroing in on certain types at that lovely WR spot. That BC kid Donavan Ez-something is another in that mold who could be blooming.
  15. Problem is I don’t think this EDGE class has anyone top-15 worthy. The higher touted guys have been banged up and underperforming. Makes me hope we can crank out some wins and develop our young guys a bit. If you put this edge group with last few years, I don’t think any touch Verse/Latu/Turner as prospects. They kind of fall into that Chop Robinson/Will McDonald type tier. None of the guys are that well rounded and none are real pass disrupters. if we don’t go QB, IDL or DB may be our best bet in considering the talent at the top of this class.
  16. That is one generous list. I think there's three tops 1st round talents at QB in this class and that's being kind - Sanders, Nuss, & Ward (maybe) Then the rest are mid round talents that are simply teasing at times like a lot of these kids do every year. People think they'll be higher draft picks and they settle into 4th-UDFA. I think McCord & Rourke are interesting. Allar has room to grow/I see returning. Milroe, Ewers and Beck aren't that good - I just don't see much. Honestly, it's not a good class at the top for any position. This is one of the least exciting draft classes in forever. OL and DL talent are lacking true impact guys, DBs are aight...it's really the 2 WRs, Graham, & a few others.
  17. Are we being reactive again?
  18. I’ll admit - totally mixed, Nixed, him up with another from the 2023 evals. Rescinded.
  19. I honestly think we could still crank out a few wins. Gut tells me we end up highest 4, lowest 7ish. Browns, Raiders, Titans, & dare I say the Saints look set up for death spirals meanwhile we’re still playing tough. And the Jags and Pats aren’t too hot.
