  1. Thats what football is a matter of opinion. I know what the narrative is of Cam and I know my opinion is not a popular one but I do not believe Cam deserves all of the criticism he has gotten for last season and I expect even the most casual fan to understand the circumstances he was placed in and understand that most QBs would have failed in that situation much like he did
  2. An alarming rate? You might want to to go buy the All-22 and fact check that. I know thats a common brain dead reply to the season he had and while a few balls did skip he also made some very nice throws.
  3. Depends. FA hasnt even started yet. I think there's a good chance he's back in NE. They have 60 million in cap and some good draft picks. They can easily upgrade the offense and their front 7 and be back in the mix in the AFC.
  4. I mean is this a joke? He was released well into FA when most teams had already committed to their Qb for the year. Most teams don't wait until the end of May or even June to get their starting Qb. Why do people act like this was a "normal" situation Cam was put into this year? I mean look at the offense he played in Damiere Byrd was his #1 Wr. If the Pat's had a bonafide #1 and a healthy Edleman Cam's stats would look A LOT better. Its just funny to me that people use that season to determine if Cam can still be a starting QB in the NFL or not. He had a month to learn his offense and was throwing to a bunch of UDFA ST players And he still won more games than the Carolina Panthers with a MUCH MUCH WEAKER supporting cast. If Cam Newton is done then Matt Rhule doesn't deserve to coach another down of football if he couldn't even win more games than a bum Cam Newton with a month to learn a new system with dogsh*t weapons.
  5. You go little guy!! Show everyone how smart you are!!
  6. Hahaha and where did those decisions get Rhule and Tepper? 5-11? Isn't that worse than 7-9 which is what Cam did with no offseason, learning a new offense, and complete sh*t at the WR/TE position, and he got covid? What a great decision that turned out to be! Also a pretty terrible analogy on your part. So you laugh at Cam and I get to laugh at your dumbassery. Win-win we're all laughing now!
  7. Steve probably has one of the best career highlight reels that I've ever see from an NFL player at any position. And he was able to get the stats to back it up. Being only 5'9 185 pounds, in the systems he played in, the man should definitely be 1st ballot.
  8. Wonder who could have seen this coming? Serves them right for the way they handled the Cam situation. If they don't get the next Qb right Rhules stay in Carolina might not be for very long
  9. Isn't this the same guy that says he doesn't believe in firing assistants?
  10. He's a UFC fighter and has done pretty well mostly but he unfortunately lost his last fight. Looked really good the first round but was spent after that and lost. I think he's like 7-3, 1 NC
  11. Sure, however I think they are pretty fair points. Rhule deserves his fair share of criticism for the Teddy Bridgewater/QB debacle.
  12. Great way to coach if you're at the HS level however I don't feel that is the best method for an NFL HC, and I hate to agree with the comments but what has Rhule really done thus far? What has he won? So far, he's got a 5-11 record and Teddy Bridgewater as his hand picked starting Qb. Yuck.
  13. The problem with the way they moved on from Newton was that we were supposed to replace him with a "competent" NFL QB that could win us games. They didn't do that and Newton ended up winning more games and putting up similar stats on a team that was devoid of MUCH MUCH more talent especially on the offensive side of the ball. Had Cam stayed last year this team probably wins 9-10 games. They signed Teddy and barely won 5. Awful.
  14. What's more troubling is they legit thought TB was more than what he was when they signed him. Doesn't give me high hopes they will be able to find a competent/franchise worthy QB during the Rhule era, but we'll see what happens!
  15. For all of you (most of you) who were so excited when Teddy first got here last offseason well you reap what you sow. Teddy will continue to be the player he was brought in to be until we find a suitable replacement, and that is a low end starter who is a bridge player and will continue to secure us a high draft pick until we draft a QB. Did you guys think Rhule and Tepper were joking when they said they don't expect to win for awhile? Rhule was given an incredibly long leash. We could have back to back to back losing records for the next 2-3 years and everything will be going "according to schedule." They said something about 3-5 seasons before they expect to start winning? I'd say we're right on schedule.
  16. I think a lot of other positions we are going to have some good competition as well. Each year it's gotten better and better under Gman.
  17. Don't sleep on Bersin. He's a lot more proven than some of these other guys, plus if he has another good offseason developmentally do you cut him because someone else runs faster? I think he has a good a shot to make it as the rest of them. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
  18. Aaron Donald is only 6' tall. Height for a DT isn't extremely important as long as he's got strength and quickness.
  19. Well here we go. Did not want to see this defense out on the field again without scoring at least some points. McDermott needs to get his head out of his fuging ass with these terrible CB blitzes.
