Typically you don't turn the QB position over as frequently as other positions but considering that we have made minimal investments in that position Im actually ok with turning the position until we hit.

The Huddle did crap on Teddy pretty hard, probably harder than we should have. And Teddy walked into a tough situation. The team let go of fan favorite Cam and there was no way that he was going to fill those shoes. Then covid happened and he had to try to lead a team with no offseason and a new coaching staff. That would be tough for most players (not named Tom Brady). But despite everything that was stacked against him, he proved himself to not be clutch in the "make it or break it" moments. I was a Teddy fan all season, but towards the end of the year, with the ball in our hands at the end of the game there was just no confidence that Teddy could win - and he proved he could not. So yeah we poo poo'ed him hard but the change needed to be made.

Obviously, I misread what you were trying to say - my bad. But still, its very common for high 1st rounders to get multiple chances.

Not sure if you are race baiting here or not, but TYPICALLY high 1st round players get way more chances than other guys - QB's especially.

You can literally make this same argument about every player drafted before Tom Brady's 199th pick... And no, JC doesnt need to be the best CB of all time for this still to be a good pick..

Any player other than a QB please... Lots of good targets left. I wanted oline in the 1st and would like oline in the 2nd but there is a lot of good defensive talent on the board right now... If we picked up JOK, Barmore or Moehrig, our D suddenly becomes a strength. Given that we are still in rebuilding mode, I would not be opposed to it.

Been thinking about this for some time.. With players being able to get an year in College, does that make NEXT years draft contain more quality players? Obviously there are clear cut guys in the 1st and 2nd rounds but from 3rd round on, would those players typically be of higher value than what we would see this year? Thinking specifically of linemen, they get an extra year to get bigger and stronger. There would be less projections from teams perspectives. If so, then would it make sense making deals this year to secure more picks next year? What do you college guru's think?

I think the thing I would get the most upset about out draft is if we draft a QB in round 2.

TBH, I would be a little disappointed if we draft a QB in the 1st round. The very best case situation for our team is that he plays to his #3 overall draft status and we build around him.
