  1. I'm just curious to see how Shaq Thompson is viewed amongst fans for his tenure with the org. I'd seen someone say he's the last of the 'Keep Pounding Era', and Shaq has definitely had longevity and some bright moments here. What say you? How would you define his career as a Panther?
  2. I'm very fine with Bryce and the offense sitting now. Literally all that I wanted out of Bryce today (and this preseason) was to show some confidence, put something on film to work on, and hopefully build some momentum heading into the season. Box checked
  3. You can't beat $13 though lol I saw infant jerseys can go for $50 smh lol. Kid can poop in it, and grow out of it next week for all I care for $13!
  4. I bought an infant Jeremy Chinn jersey the other day; it was $13 and I figured at the very least they can rep the Panthers on gameday for a little while at that price.
  5. I've noticed with fans they are always over expecting depending on what side of the fence we're on. Panthers Fans Trading Jaycee Out -Potential All-Pro Shut Down Corner should easily go for two 1st Rounders! Panthers Fans Trading for a Jaycee type player -He's made of glass, they should be grateful for our 4th and a conditional 6th
  6. lol I admit I am consciously reminding myself not to overreact just yet ; I just would've liked some fun high flying pre-season football in case we're going to get back to losing in the regular season lol
  7. Steve tried to stick up for his guy and say the pass was behind him, haha nah buddy right between the numbers on his chest smh. TMJ is a butter fingers too I see smh lol
  8. Yeah I'm basically with you; but I do believe in letting these guys do their jobs. I have absolved myself of getting too attached now, so however it goes this year I'll be having fun watching football on Sundays
  9. Very disappointed Bryce won't be getting any reps. But I'll have some faith in Canales until he gives me a reason not to.
  10. I've never heard Luke speak so much, and tell such an animated story. I'd love to see more of this out of him!
  11. You may be right; but I didn't make it up lol, earlier there were a few tweets that mentioned a cart. https://x.com/Callihan_/status/1820123241526268200
  12. https://x.com/josephperson/status/1820123370056249660 No details now;hopefully the embedded link shows up; I did the wait method lol (I struggle every time).
  13. Same; maybe he has some CMC level upside that I don't know about. But using a higher pick on a RB is already frowned upon with how disposable they are these days. Let alone once I found out about the ACL. I'll just hope for the best as always.
  14. As a fan I get you; as an agent he sounds pretty damn good to me if I were a client lol.
  15. He can be 5'2 if he can get us wins this year.
  16. I was thinking the same; it's not on Tepper directly per se; but as a business owner you will always have to answer for these situations. Because it does still boil down to hiring the right security staff, having the correct protocol in place for an event of this magnitude. Again, people are going to blindly put all of the blame on Tepper just bc of his history lately. But also there is proactive planning that has to be done to make sure these things don't get out of hand. That's just the nature of being the owner of a company both sadly and rightfully at times.
  17. Right definitely, I just wonder what cog in the machine was the worst that messed it up. Tepper that bad/meddling of an owner, Fitterer that bad of a GM, Reich that bad of a coach? I guess it's not an either/or answer, and we got the lucky combination of all 3 'stars' aligning lol. Either way, I'm definitely excited about what I've seen from the team this offseason. I just hope it translates to one thing in the end..
  18. Man, you bring up an amazing talking point. I remember thinking that though we didn't have the players we definitely had one of the best coaching staffs on paper. I figured that would translate to a great system where we could finally cycle in players year in and year out with sustained success. I was wrong after Year 1.
  19. lol this thread may be going into Week 2 at this rate; but if he's healthy and on a friendly contract I'm all for having him. We don't have much reason to be picky at DB as far as I can tell
  20. At this point it's just a running joke amongst most fans for me. Nothing too serious. I didn't hate him, I thought he was serviceable. I also don't think he needed to be on the team as long as he was.
  21. Exactly how I feel lol; any chance at a weapon for Bryce I'm for it.
  22. Seems like he has hands I'm cool with it. I didn't realize he tore his ACL in Nov though, don't love that at all.
  23. I can be convinced though; if it's a great move to build long term success, I won't complain.
  24. Fair but we also need great players now; we had a horrible product. My fear is if Bryce has another less than average year that will be the beginning of rebuilding at QB in a lot of eyes. So I'm for getting great value now whether on Offense or Defense; this year.
