    At least now I know why the Niners didn't yank Jimmy G when he was sucking out loud in the playoffs last year. Lance looks like a flat out bust. That was a brutal trade for a D1AA QB.

    Exactly. That's the only reason he's still here. Probably the reason Tepper hasn't fired him. They're in a standoff to see who gives in first. I don't think it's gonna be Rhule. He's not walking away from tens of millions.

    Seriously. It's like he's recognized that he's not cut out for the NFL and is gonna end up back in college anyway so just go ahead and get it over with. He was sniffing around all the top college openings last year thinking he was as good as fired.

    I was cautiously optimistic but I caught a lot of poo for calling into question his atrocious record against ranked teams in college and saying it was a significant red flag.

    They literally just went to the Super Bowl. We want to pursue a top QB prospect AND a new staff.

    Honestly? Quite a few. He was missing throws. Guys were dropping balls. The OL was missing blocks. There was no shortage of bad to point out

    The Niners honestly might be low key relieved that Lance got hurt. He's still not ready (or just flat out suck) and this keeps them from being forced to bench him. Meanwhile, it looks like the Super Bowl loss curse is claiming another victim in the Bengals. Down 14-3 to the Cowboys staring down the barrel of 0-2.

    No. We suck bad but at least we're competitive. Yeah, it ultimately makes the losses even more frustrating but there were some of those Browns and Lions teams over the years that just got their teeth kicked in each and every week.

    I seriously doubt he'll be fired that quickly. That would be Tepper outright admitting that everyone was right when they said Rhule should be fired at the end of last season. He doesn't have the humility to do that. I expect Rhule to get fired coming down the final stretch like Ron was.

    Mayfield looks terrible. The OL still looks terrible after a significant retooling. The personnel doesn't match McAdoo's offense at all and all three factors combine to give you this year's clown show of a Panthers offense. Does anyone still think it's all Joe Brady's fault?
