  1. You obviously have reading comprehension problems, or are a child, but I’ve said numerous times Fitterer was terrible. The very post you quoted said Fitterer sucked. Be better.
  2. I said Zavala and Johnson are developing. They’re young. Samuel isn’t a pick to laud either, he never did anything. Butker literally never did anything for us, never taking a regular season snap.
  3. Yes, that’s already been addressed if you had bothered to keep reading instead of sweaty palmed replying with your “gotcha” post. I don’t think blocking out that Hurney somehow got a second run means “I don’t know what I’m talking about”. A lot of recency bias and drama queens in here. Fitterer sucked, but he was nowhere near the worst GM in history. He made some good picks, made some good signings, made bad ones of both too. Not to mention his first two (of three) years it would seem Rhule wore the pants in the front office.
  4. lol I totally forgot JR rehired Hurney after Gettleman was fired. Gd what a bad owner. Ok, Fitterer got Horn, Christenson, Hubbard, Icky, and DJ Johnson and Zavala seem to be developing. He was only here for three drafts. Higher hit rate than Gettleman still. Obviously Bryce is a HUGE black mark, and I’m not saying Fitterer wasn’t terrible. I just think Gettleman was worse. Still got rid of Smitty and Norman
  5. The record is a result of what he inherited. Cam, Luke and most of the stars were already there. He drafted Benjamin, that trash DT I can’t even remember the name of, and shaq in the first. Shaq is decent but terrible as a 1st round pick. In the second he wasted picks on kony ealy and Funchess. The only hits were star (obvious pick that a donkey could have made) and short, bradberry who he let walk, moton, trai turner and cmc (another obvious pick). That’s just as bad if not worse than fitterer’s drafting. Plus he was responsible for losing great players we should have kept. Smitty, Norman, Bradberry come to mind immediately. Only player you can say Fitterer got rid of we should have kept was Cam, but I’m convinced that was Rhule not Fitterer. I’m not saying Fitts was good or even not terrible, but Getts was even worse because beyond drafting incompetence he also subtracted talent we already had. edit: and even Fitterer’s misses weren’t complete wtf are you thinking picks other than Bryce, Marshall might have been a bust but he was well regarded and most liked the pick. Just didn’t pan out. Greg Little didn’t work out but he was expected to go higher than he did. Gross-Matos wasn’t a huge bust, and he wasn’t a reach or anything. Just didn’t develop into a good player. Fitterer also got us Moore, Burns, Brown, Horn, Hubbard, Icky, and a lot more mid range contributors like Chinn, Mays and Zavala than Gettleman did. His post-2nd round picks were almost universally trash.
  6. For a 4th or lower? Sure. Bonus if we can throw in Bryce. Worth a shot in the off chance he can still develop into a good starter
  7. Nobody is saying pay big money to Chuba. Not one single person. “Resign” doesn’t mean “pay big money”. People get resigned to reasonable deals all the time, much more often than people get “big money”. If that many people were getting big money, it wouldn’t be big money. It’d be average money
  8. Jackson has been good and I agree we should resign him. He’s had some bad plays but definitely more good than bad. People talking about “big contracts”, no one is saying to sign these guys to big contracts. Chuba ain’t going to get a big contract. Dionte ain’t going to get a big contract. Sign them to medium tier starter contracts cuz that’s what they are. If they want top three money then they can walk, but an effort should definitely be made to sign all three to reasonable contracts.
  9. That Chuba grade makes no sense, he was balling. Did he miss like ten blocks or something? Doubtful
  10. Right now there’s like five or six QBs being talked about as being among the best. We’ll almost certainly be able to get one. If there’s a guy Canales believes in, then absolutely get him and let him sit behind Andy for a year while we retool the defense.
  11. I give a poo. Team doesn’t have to be winning for me to care.
  12. Pie for everything except the Sanders nonsense
  13. I don’t think any coordinator has ever had less than who we had available today.
  14. Oof that one hurts. Thomas wouldn’t have caught it anyway. Bad decision.
  15. I never would have called Hubbard “shifty” before this year but he’s really worked on his footwork. He’s shifty af now
  16. His analysis is good but his jokes and “personality” moments are annoying af
  17. Yea that’s why I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. From my couch it does seem like he had time to set his feet and make the throw, but I’ll just assume he didn’t feel good about it and played it safe.
  18. Oof Dionte looked open on that last play. I’m going to assume Andy wasn’t in position to make the throw when Dionte got open
  19. That last throw by Andy was absolutely beautiful. Bryce could never. He also would have been sacked on that play Andy scrambled on.
  20. That’s why I like Canales. Any of our last coaches of the past 20 years would have run run run to start this drive and go to the half at 22-10. XL! Dalton! Coker!
  21. Overall I like what I’m seeing. There’s been some bad playcalling at times, especially last week, but as a HC I like him so far. His willingness to stay aggressive before halves is a refreshing thing to see. Being willing to move on from Young was a huge plus for him too.
  22. I still don’t think it was a catch but I’ll take the fumble
