I’m not sure how to salvage this franchise going forward. Bad coach, bad QBs, bad oline, bad run defense, bad trades, fragile franchise RB, bad contracts, etc...just yikes

Getting our ass whipped by a bad team...at home. I was pissed when we were just a mediocre football team but we have traded that for rock mf’ing bottom.

Even if they fire Rhule, which I’m all for, franchise QBs, a solid oline, and a good coach won’t happen in the offseason. It’s going to take time....a long time. They traded away solid draft picks already for bad players. I’m not sold on Fitterer because of that.

This team is in a bad bad bad spot. It may be a few years before we sniff a winning record.

He has been exposed big time. The guy is a fraud. No wonder nobody wants him.

I think this franchise is in the worst spot it has ever been in. Can’t sniff wins with the players/coaches we have. Zero answers at QB. The franchise RB has broken down and is on a trade killing contract. The new GM went trade happy so no draft capital. The shiny new coach and OC turned out to be snakeoil salesmen and we may be stuck with them. The owner has so much money does he really even care. The defense has fallen way off and can easily get the ball ran down their throat. In the years the team had a worse record there was hope in the draft or future...now not so much. It’s bad...real bad. We may replace the Jets as the leagues worst inept franchise.

The franchise is a full blown dumpster fire now. They tried to make a patchwork rebuild and compete now. Traded away picks we need. The correct thing to have done has draft oline and defense. Take our lumps for 2-3 years and turn that draft capital into a new team. Hopefully along the way we pick up a young franchise QB in the draft.

It’s not ALL on Cam and the same can be said for Sam. We all know the offensive line is sketchy at best. The defense is good enough but it plays best when the offense can give it some freedom to tee off.

I’m shocked so many thought Cam coming back was going to be the team’s savior. He was let go by Carolina the first time for a reason. He was let go by the Pats for a reason. Nobody even sniffed signing him this year for a reason. He completed 5 passes today....5. I said Sam wasn’t the answer to when we traded for him. The only answer is to tank and hope a franchise QB is sitting there. That said I’m guessing Tepper sells the farm for Watson in the off season.

Truth. We traded mediocrity for rock bottom. The team is worse off since he bought it. No hope in sight.

They shouldn’t but we are good for 2 culture wins to screw up draft position.
