He still has to get it right with the players he's signed or not signed. Then there's the draft that he has to hit on much better than in the past. We are just getting started in day 2 of at least a 2 year project.

I think you need to double those numbers. You forgot rotational guys and backups. We need not only starters but backups as well. It's always been that way and hasn't changed one bit.

No. We have too many needs and we need more picks in the draft. If we are lucky we will get 1 starter and a couple of backups out of this draft. Anymore than that is gravy on top. We need more darts to throw.

Like I said earlier the approach is a solid one but the execution is what matters. I like where their head is at though.

Not me. I love the approach to building the offense so far. Whether we have the staff to pick the right players is yet to be seen but the strategy is sound.

It would be unwise to depend on Colbert staying healthy all season. I hope they get an opportunity to upgrade him, but short of that he needs a quality backup until they do find an upgrade.

We can still load the team up the right way whether Bryce works out or not. One doesn't prevent the other. All qbs still need a good OL and weapons. The offense is not getting fixed in one offseason. Hopefully it will have more talent in critical places but not all will be next season. The high dollar skill positions will have to be drafted in the next few drafts. The defense will suffer for awhile and will have to get by on whatever they can manage to snatch up on the cheap or lucky enough to grab in the draft.
