I think you should wait to see how these college qbs fair this season before you try to predict where they will go. And for the record, just say no to USC qbs. There's something in the water there that makes them worthless in the nfl.

Well our current qb was picked by everyone in the FO and the head coach. That we do know.

I think the problem was with who was picking qbs at the time.

I think playing in the nfcs helped (or hurt) last season depending on your point of view. We played some bad teams and showed we belonged right there among them. We still are a pretty bad team until proven otherwise. Only this time we will not look like we are coached by a bunch of amateurs. My hope is that this season we will spoil a lot of playoff dreams for other teams by kicking their asses on the field. It might not always equate to a win but they will not want to play us again.

I've yet to see anyone predict the SOS for any team. It's an exercise in futility. You cannot determine the strength of schedule accurately until the season is over.

The longer he's here under this staff the more valuable he becomes. Well at least as far as his talent will allow. Right now he has no value to any other team beyond what he had in the draft. Frank and Fitterer have their work cut out for them.

I would go back a look at their prediction for the 2023 draft and see how it plays out this season before I buy what anyone is selling at this point in the year.

They already have qbs that will do that.

I wouldn't want to be traded either. Not this year. He's got some of best coaches in the league for a qb to learn the nfl game from and hopefully get to showcase what he's learned at some point in a full game next preseason. If he does well he and the Panthers both benefit in a trade at that point.

If they get lucky in the draft, and find better depth in the next offseason, and most of all stay healthy, I could see them making some noise in the playoffs. But thats a lot of it's that have to go their way.

I'm not too worried about the oline at the moment. My concern is the defense. And to some extent the offense skill players. But depth is a concern all over the roster. It's about the same as it has always been, but trending in the right direction, or at least the competency of the staff whose deciding it anyway.

The term you're looking for is expendable. There's quite a few left that fit that description. They are on borrowed time.
