All of them got worked Sunday. That's a blocking scheme breakdown. Pittsburgh figured out how to use it to their advantage and turn it into a disadvantage for the Panthers. It took us the rest of the game to figure out a new blocking scheme to counter them. By that time the defense had already sh*t the bed so bad our putrid offense had no chance to recover. From then on it was damage control.

The Cowboys were the Steelers mortal enemies back then. Those games were the most fun to watch and featured so many great players. The games were brutal back then. It damn near was a gladiator sport. Damn I'm getting worked up just thinking about those epic games. The Cowboys were the media favorites much like they are today. So naturally everyone loved an underdog that challenged them Cowboys. The Cowboys were proud of themselves and weren't afraid to show it. The Steelers were winning but were written off as the same old Steelers the cannot win. Their wins were a fluke and the Cowboys are the best. Well naturally the Steelers took offense to being snubbed and kicked it up a notch. They went on to win 4 SBs in 6 years and produced more hall of fame players than anyone ever thought they could. F#CK THE COWBOYS!!! America's team my ass.

I was 11 years old and was just getting into pro football at the time. I remember being at my cousins house and it was too cold to play outside so my aunt turned on the TV and told us sit down and watch the game. I remember it like it was yesterday. We both decided to cheer for Pittsburgh because we liked the uniform colors. I remember to this day the bewildered look my cousins face, as I'm sure I was too, and the reaction both of us made when realized he caught that ball, you couldn't really tell at first from the camera angle on tv. As soon as they announced it was a catch we lost it. I even remember that ugly green shag carpet we were laying on when we jumped up in the air screaming. Which scared the crap out of my aunt. Anyway, I became a Steelers fan that day and remained one until the Panthers were founded. The one thing that has always remained the same from my days as a diehard Steelers fan to now being a diehard Panthers fan is this, we share the same sentiment towards the Cowboys. F#CK THE COWBOYS!!! Franco, You were the spark that ignited a fire that became the Steelers dynasty. RIP

They are worth much more than a good wr. The two most important positions on the oline are 1. LT and 2a. Center. A good RT is important but somewhat easier to draft and develop over the first but it's certainly critical. So it is 2b., some will argue differently so whatever. Guards are 3rd in that order. A mountain of a man like Bozeman who can anchor the middle the way he does? The one person that touches the ball every play other than the qb and calls protections for the oline? Yes, he is absolutely worth every penny.

Attacking “glass half full” posters after a loss…

Welcome to the front row brother. Until any of that is decided you cannot worry about the future of this team. Sit back and enjoy whatever is left of the final act of the Carolina Panthers season. I for one am eager to see how this comedy of errors ends. -

That's why I do not worry about anything other than seeing them pull out a win. This offenseason is going to get really interesting. Hell Tepper may go after Aaron Rogers in the offseason. Anything can and will happen. -
I think Wilks has been told he has the job. (Speculation)

We have zero control over anything in these games other than our own emotions. I prefer to be happy with the wins however they come than to sit around and be miserable about hypothetical outcomes as a result. I bet some of these guys are a joy to be around during the holidays. -
For getting fired? Who's next, Hurney?

Good for you I guess. Seems like the rest of us want to see this through. Winning is all we care about. -

If they are not winning why are you worried about getting embarrassed in the playoffs. They won't even be there. Let me see if I understand what you are saying here. Its a two part question so bare with me. You think that if you could not possibly win a game you do not want to play the game because you will lose and get embarrassed? Do you want the team to have that mindset? -
They are much better than last years group and that's not debatable. They just went up against a better defense, at least game plan wise. They held up better than I expected for most of the game. Pittsburgh is a tough team to out muscle when their back is against the wall. Tomlin needed this win just as badly if not more than Wilks. There was no was they were going to let the Panthers run on them. You can bet your ass he made sure of that. He dared us to beat them with Ben McAdoo calling pass plays for Sam Darnold.

I'm glad it is for someone. -
Oh there's no doubt about it. They will not win out. But that doesn't seem to matter because none of the other teams in the nfcs seem to want to win either. If we win another game they may force us to take the title whether we want it or not. It's just that screwed up.

It's seems to be a bit of both.

I can watch them suck from the comforts of my own home thank you. I'm not paying anymore for that. They should be thankful that I care enough to tune in. -
Lmao.... Panthers still control their own destiny....

All I'm saying is you are expecting too much. Think of it this way. You have a race car built by shade tree mechanics at the direction of the first driver that didn't know poo about building a race car. You put it in the indy 500 and a few laps in you realize the car is a piece of poo with no chance to win. So to think putting a new driver in it is somehow it's going to win the race is a bit of a stretch don't you think? -

If we are picking 24th maybe QB isn't the problem. But I get your point. Apparently there wasn't anyone in this draft they feel as strongly about as you to worry about draft position. -

It for people that can't take a differing opinion. It's their go to reaction. -
Different teams under different circumstances. I do not remember all of the circumstances that led to those past teams demise. The measuring stick is your opposition this season. We do not measure up. We have a few pieces sure. And I do mean few. One critical piece is still illusive and not looking to magically appear anytime soon. Theres just not talent enough to crawl out of the nfl cellar. That doesn't even take into account the coaching disadvantage we have to overcome. But like every season the team will be different next season. Will they measure up or will they need more talent. I think you know the answer.

We are not going anywhere. We are just caught up an unfortunate series of events. This team is just doing the best they can with what they have. It just not enough to win any games. We have somehow managed to stay in the discussion for a playoff spot despite our intentions or abilities. My only interest now is to watch who is fighting for a roster spot. In my mind the game outcome is predetermined before it starts. It has been all season. If they win I take it in perspective and apply credit accordingly. Either way, I still see a team that needs a lot of churn from top to bottom.

It's a matter of perspective. You play the hand you're dealt. I agree there was a couple personnel substitutions a would have made. But without knowing the circumstances behind those decisions I cannot say there were other options. He will have to live with it. I just cannot see what else they could have done other than to fire McAdoo but it's too late for that.
