Would it shock you? It certainly wouldn't shock me.

The Carolina Panthers are owned by a Dan Snyder clone
Jon Snow replied to tiger7_88's topic in Carolina Panthers
Involved with the coaching search is scary enough for me. It's going to take a lot to make up for his trust in Hurney and his lust for Watson. Not to mention the RH fiasco. -

Not yet anyway. He's more involved than I care for. -

Snyder? No. Jerry Jones lite possibly. -
He's gonna need it. The NFL will chew you up and spit you out if you can't hang with the big boys.

I hope they are doing their due diligence on the upcoming class. If they are smart they will be looking for one worth trading up for if there is one they are in love with.

Again, Smitty is cautiously optimistic about Mayfield
Jon Snow replied to GRWatcher's topic in Carolina Panthers
Always thinking it will be different this time. Never hitch your wagon to a USC QB. I was skeptical from the beginning, more like disappointed when I heard the news. I knew it would end terribly. -

Gonna be some really disappointed fans when Baker doesn’t turn this team around. All the same excuses were thrown around last offseason when they trade for Sam. -
Carolina Panthers are a mess, bad situation, etc.
Jon Snow replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
That will be a must win game for both teams. But it will be much worse for the Panthers to lose. I'm not sure whether I will laugh or rage. Probably will laugh, much like I did last year. -
Browns and Panther Fan Reactions to the Baker Mayfield Trade
Jon Snow replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nothing wrong with optimism, wish I had some of that with this group. Fitterer and Morgan seem to be a good pair so far but it's early and the results have yet to be fully tabulated. I will wait for the season to play out before i decide if they just might know what they are doing. Love this year's first 2 pics myself. I surely hope they don't stop qb hunting though. If they don't keep Baker another season Corral will need a backup, assuming he's not the backup himself, Corral that is. I have no complaints with the offseason other than adding Baker. I just think it was pointless other than to continue the Rhule experiment. I just cannot see that moron as talented enough to be a franchise QB. But that's just me. -

I'm not advocating for Matt to play at all that season. My grip is this this move allows Rhule to avoid eating the poo sandwich he's created at the position by extending his tenure even further. I agree a vet is needed if they hope to develop Corral. I have doubts this staff could anyway. This team wasn't going to win with Sam or Matt starting this season but Baker allows Rhule to buy more time. I just hate the fact that the douche will be the face of the franchise for the foreseeable future. -
He's had too much Captain Morgan.

Well, here's that bridge qb you all wanted. We are right back to where we were when they signed Teddy. Only this time they have the benefit of another draft and another FA period under their belt. It looks a lot like a reset to me. I sure hope this clusterf*ck of an organization gets its crap together soon.

Scratch that. It will be a pulled groin from all the booty he will be getting in Charlotte.
-
He will end up on injured reserve with an [insert fake injury here].
-
So? I'm afraid he alone will not be enough to change the smell coming from BOA. But I have come to accept the fact that I will have to endure the Rhule process until the bitter end. He's done a decent attempt to piece together a better offense this season at least I will give him that. But I digress, fug Baker Mayfield.
-
Not sure there has been enough changes to matter in the end. McAdoo was unemployed for a reason. He can only do so much anyway because this is the Rhule show for better or worse. Wilks was a nice addition but he was never a great DC honestly. Great man and leader but not a great strategist. He should do well in his current position however. Snow is out of his depth just like Rhule. I'm not expecting much to change and predict the outcome for the season to be about the same as last season.

They were saying the same great things about the Darnold trade. How soon they forget.

Of course it would. But that's all this team has ever been at best. This move will just prolong it.
