  1. The QB coach needs to be spending time with Darnold on the sideline.
  2. LT: When the former college C and professional backup G went down, we replaced him with Offensive G Daley. LG: A good run blocker, Jordan is famous for being the guy in Cincinnati who whiffed on the block that led to the Burrow injury that ended his season in 2020--and he is named after a successful basketball player. C:When Paradis went down with yet another injury, the Panthers resorted to a Baylor Bear who was not pursuing an NFL career until Rhule convinced him to join the Panthers. A practice squad player turned active roster by default. Remember, Elflein has experience at C and I think he was active. (not sure) RG: A backup T. So we had a G playing LT and a LT playing RG. And everyone was OK with that? RT: Moton. Any questions?
  3. Y'all leave Darnold alone---if you had a "waist up" shot you would have seen that he was cutting onions for a trick play later.
  4. Good question. We all were stunned by the moves, I recall.
  5. Can I be the first to remind everyone that Fitterer signed Cam Erving and Pat Elflein to multi-year contracts on the first day of free agency? What the hell was that?
  6. I thought this move could pan out. I thought he was simply mismanaged. He simply can't process, and all the skills in the world are pointless if you can't read a defense. His attention is on the DL more that the WRs.
  7. It all boils down to the OL. Darnold was gun shy yesterday. As soon as he saw pressure, he did a 360 degree pirouette and started running for the sideline. His grounding, his failure to read the defense and deliver the ball on time--all products of a bad OL. However, that is not to say Darnold is without blame--he could be David Carred by now--blinded by pressure to such a degree he can't see beyond the OL.
  8. I just do not see us winning again. That was pathetic and it is becoming the norm.
  9. NO OL, NO QB. Rest of the team is fine.
  10. at the end of the game, we had Daley, Tecklenburg, Jordan, Scott, and Moton. 1 starter.
  11. Lotta teams need a QB. Cam is unemployed and available. Wonder what that could mean?
  12. Nobody mentioning getting our Slot WR (Marshall) back. That is important. Remember, with Marshall, teams are less likely to sit on routes etc. He is a legit player. I also think CMC keeps people honest. Just a theory.
  13. Smitty will not keep his job long dissing players like that. These networks are promoting the product, not trashing it. Not to say that you cannot have valid criticism, but base it on something tangible. Smitty gets all the breaks. When it rains, he is the last person to get wet.
  14. the sore shoulder MIGHT be a plus--it MAY cause him to be more deliberate and get his feet right...we shall see--but how much does it take to dink one to CMC?
  15. He is also a d*ck and sees through a pee hole situated about 2.4 feet above the ground.
  16. I noticed because I too live on the edge.
  17. I think this thread has been overdue for that reason. Carter takes slow, false steps, bad angles, and his numbers are not there. I think S and MLB have been given a bit of a pass because the Offense has drawn the fire.
  18. Quite sure I do. Player talent is based on a continuum, not a gatekeeper. If you understand the ends of the continuum, it enables one to better estimate the capability for improvement if that is prioritized. Stop trolling and allow others to have perspectives that differ from yours, oh Gatekeeper of all that is logical.
  19. My god, man, Charge your technological device--you are in the red zone!! Thanks for this--good argument.
