  1. Thank god, but how many QBs has this franchise tired to acquire the last two years and failed miserably at? This is a bad look for Tepper and his FO.
  2. This trade would be a total disaster. Gut the team on a career .500 quarterback. The Texans put a lot better teams around him than we’re close to having and he still won nothing. Barely won divisions in the porous AFC South.
  3. Completely forgettable with us. Comp pick is the only thing saving this move.
  4. Denver did this with Manning years ago. If anything LA copied them.
  5. This guy is a disaster at QB. Can't read a defense. Horrible accuracy. He's a bargain bin Lamar Jackson, who couldn't win a big game if you spotted him two touchdowns. But even Lamar is too high of a praise, he's more comparable to Manziel, who looked way better in college.
  6. What team are you watching? This team is more than two players away from being a contender. Especially with our cap situation.
  7. Problem with Tepper, and a lot of owners like to meddle in the affairs. It never works well. Khan in Jacksonville. Jerry in Dallas. Mike Brown in Cincinnati who finally gave us control to his daughter who actually made the player personnel guy make the football decisions, Woody Johnson with the Jets, the list goes on. He needs to just put football guys in place and let them do the work. His early tenure has been a disaster so far from an on the field product standpoint. Everything else in my opinion has been great.
  8. Train wreck of a draft pick. There’s no way Rhule does it. He wants to keep his job, not be out of it by November.
  9. This would set us back another 10 years. Cousins is good enough to get you 8-9 wins. That isn't good enough in the NFL. The draft picks we'll lose, the young quarterback's we'll miss out on and delay development of for a chance at mediocrity so some middle of the pack college coach can save his job is just absurd. Tepper should pull the plug on this failed experiment immediately. If not he better get used to a half empty stadium for the next decade.
  10. If a player, especially a linebacker is only here because of the coach you dump him and call him a day. And at that number, you totally dump him.
  11. He’s in over his head and surrounded himself with yes men. If you can’t see that idk what to tell you.
  12. Pretty much where Detroit ended up virtually every year with him. 6-7 wins other than a few anomaly's. He's not a franchise altering quarterback. That Rams team is stacked. They went to the Super Bowl with Goff a few years ago. People give Stafford way too much credit. He's made multiple bonehead plays every game this playoffs. He's lucky the team around him has managed to bail him out.
  13. When you have a line as neglected as the Bengals by their FO you deserve that.
  14. Tampa is capped out to hell. Even if Brady wanted to come back they’d be in big trouble trying to put a decent team around him. We saw how that offense looked towards the end of the season when a couple guys were out. Not pretty.
  15. I think the main reason Wilks came here is because there’s a realistic shot that he’s interim head coach by November and that can springboard him back into the coaching conversation. He really hasn’t been a top candidate since Arizona and he definitely feels as though he has some unfinished business only coaching one year.
  16. Rhule has no idea what he’s doing and is in over his head. This much is obvious. He’s barely a .500 football coach in college, he has no experience winning. Just look at Arizona. They hired the same thing, a college coach with no NFL experience and a mediocre record. They get laughably out coached anytime there is a big game. Rhule can’t even get us to big games. The only thing he’ll accomplish is a Top 5 pick next year.
  17. Theres definitely a lot more experience on the staff this year and I think that bodes well. They’ll get more out of the current players but more isn’t going to be enough to get these guys in the playoffs.
  18. Someone in New York is trying to drum up interest so they can flip five or we’re drumming up interest so someone starts falling in love with him to trade with us. If we stay at 6 I don’t see how we take a quarterback, especially if it’s BPA, which it should be given the state of our team. Pickett is the best QB in this draft but he’s probably the 25th best prospect.
  19. I honestly don't see anything more than a stop gap this year. The roster is full of holes still, arguably even more now than when Rhule took over two years ago. I assume they'll draft a mid-round linebacker but there really isn't any significant cap room to solve it through trade or free agency. 2022 is really a ride it out year at that position until we get some cap flexibility with Darnold off the books and second year signal caller.
  20. Teddy is straight garbage, the only people who want him to stay the starter want him to be the starter for non-football reasons. I'd rather PJ Walker next year and have the rookie sit for a few weeks before taking over.
