    Even if you really wanted Watson here, there is no way you guarantee 25% of the cap to Watson the next four years… this just proves it was all about the money. Insane

    Well I've been preaching that for years if we didn't get Watson. I am vehemently opposed to any QB in this year's class or trading picks for has-beens, as I was opposed to Darnold and I also said he's terrible and we need to move on when we were 3-0 last year. I was fine with Teddy because we had CMC and DJ and it was worth trying to win that year. But now its not.

    Getting a franchise QB IS a rational decision. That's why Tepper has pushed hard for one the last few years. It's the most important thing in sports.

    Players would stop without hesitation if it was just fully guaranteed contracts NFL salary cap structure is so convoluted and a mess, NBA is so simple. It is incredibly hard to have trades with players in the NFL and it shouldn't be.

    I love Minshew but he would win us enough games to not have a top 3 pick. Goal is a top 3 pick. Trade CMC, trade DJ if he wants it, and start fresh next year with a new coach and the #1 overall pick. Has worked well for Arizona and Cincinnati recently and will work well for Jacksonville once they clear themselves of the terrible Urban Meyer hire stink

    Again, we pick Willis he will be a backup next year because we'd be picking a QB next year. He isn't ready to play and if he does he's no better than PJ Walker for his rookie year, meaning we will be 1-16 or 2-15 and have the #1 overall pick. 3rd round maybe. 1st round no. Take the lineman, we need any of the top 6 lineman (offensive or defensive)
