  1. They have to show me they can do better before I give them the benefit of the doubt.
  2. I view them all as part of the problem until they prove otherwise.
  3. Did you expect anything else from these guys?
  4. I'd love to have one of those, but just can't justify putting that much into a new ride with how high everything is right now. As you said, maybe once the prices return to sort of normal.
  5. Finally they made a hire. Now to wait and see how it turns out.
  6. I'm mostly another TBD vote, but I'm leaning no and voted that way. So far Fitterer has either been a yes man or he's made bad mistakes with some of his signings, extensions, and picks.
  7. Maybe, but he was out of the league for a few years when he took the Jags' QB coach job. He lost it and the Panthers' got him from his consultant job in Dallas. That doesn't scream waiting for the right situation so much as I'll take anything as long as it keeps me in the NFL. I'll wait to see what happens when they play games. Maybe McAdoo will show he's a good OC that can get the most out of his players. Maybe he'll show he was blessed or lucked into the Giants instead.
  8. If you're going to be objective, there's no guarantee that he has a good OC situation now either. If McAdoo was a good OC, he wouldn't have been on the league's scrap heap the last couple years where the Panthers found him and would have been an OC somewhere else like what happens to other failed HCs.
  9. This is pure speculation and wishful thinking. None of the offensive players really separated themselves from the pack leading up to the draft. That's a huge reason the first five picks were all defense. Just because the Panthers made Icky the first offensive pick doesn't mean he is the best offensive player. We'll have to wait and see how they play this fall to find out who is the best. And I'm someone that wanted Neal, Cross, or Icky to be the Panthers' pick.
  10. Drats! Here I was secretly hoping for a name change to the Wasps or Buzz complete with hideous black and yellow uniforms as well as endzone paint that rips off the Hornets' honeycomb court.
  11. Tepper can afford it since he'll pass the costs onto the fans in the way of higher prices for everything else.
  12. Panthers will give every adult in attendance one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer to make mediocrity easier to swallow.
  13. While people are debating Pepsi vs Coke, the Panthers are going full in with Cheerwine, Sundrop, and RC Cola. Moonpies will also be served as the snack of choice.
  14. While doing several pre-draft workouts without a coach to give input on if those guys will fit his system.
  15. People sick of watching Darnold. People looking for any glimmer of hope at the QB spot. People with unrealistic expectations. People wanting to see if Corral is worth developing instead of drafting another rookie QB next year.
  16. For anyone that makes the 53 man roster to be able to play well enough to help the team win.
  17. Except in this case, the city owns the building and sees a ROI from the rent the Hornets pay. This isn't the same as an NFL owner demanding a new building because he wants to fleece the city.
  18. You could say the same thing about any pro sport in the USA. People watch the NBA because they find it enjoyable. It's as simple as that.
  19. Take that Tepper! Charlotte has proposed to give 215 million to upgrade the Spectrum Center and build the Hornets a new 60 million practice facility. And in case anyone is wondering, the city owns the Spectrum Center.
  20. These guys mean winning when they refer to how terrible an owner is. As all the Watson threads proved, most here only care about winning and could care less how terrible a person is if it lets their chosen team win.
