It was an ugly game, with two bad offenses going up against two very good defenses. The less bad offense won. Lance may eventually be good, don't know at this point, but I imagine the forty whiners are glad they kept Jimmy G at this point.

Fields wasn't very good today. But Lance was terrible.

It looked great because he played great in the second half and how he played in the first is completely irrelevant in judging how he played in the second half. Not saying he will be our franchise qb, but for one half of football, he played great. I mean completing 75% of your passes under constant pressure for a 150 yards is great.

The refs were wrong, but we put Cleveland in a position to win by not going for the First down on our last possession. Don't give the refs a chance to win it.

I agree with you a lot, but got to disagree with this. Baker settled down after the first int and played a magnificent game, even with getting knocked on his a$$ for much of the third qtr. For the entire second half, he completed 75% of his passes and threw for 150 yards, and got 17 points. I don't know if he is the future, but at least for today, he played a great second half.

Yeah, there were some people here and on several other teams talking about tanking for Trevor. He may still turn out to be good, but at least at this point, I am glad we didn't waste a top draft pick on him or any of the others in that draft. Davis Mills had a good game today, but I think his coach hosed him at the end. Punted instead of going for it near the end, locked up the tie instead of going for the win. But at least they got the tie.

Baker sucked for first quarter and a half or so. But after the pick, he settled down and played well, especially given how much pressure he was under. In the second half, he threw for 150 yards, a td, and completed about 75% of his passes. But the coach went college ball on us before the field goal.

Did Mayfield nail your wife or something?

Well, this sucks. But I will say that Mayfield looked a lot better in the second half. In fact, given the amount of pressure he was under, he looked amazingly good in the second half.

We outplayed them for the second half, especially in the fourth qtr. As bad as the defense was at times, they didn't get a td in the second half. But our coach made a mistake at the end. I hope he can learn from it, but his history doesn't make that promising.

The clock ran out before the player went down, or as he went down. They shouldn't have lateraled.

Well, unless something amazing happens, this loss is on Rhule and Mcadoo. Not going for the first down was asinine.

A horrible set of decisions there. We might win, but that was bad.

Well, for most the game, Myles G has gotten in the backfield almost before Mayfield did.

Well, that is probably ball game unless Cleveland goes into a prevent defense. Special teams has looked good today. Other than that, we have been horrible on both sides of the ball.

I agree, but Davis Mills started looking good at the end of last season. That is why I said that.

In other games, I am begging to wonder if Davis Mills might end being the best qb from last years draft. And the Colts Matt Ryan looks as bad as he did with the Falcons. The Texans are lighting up the Colts today.

Our rookie OT is getting beat like a drum by one of the best DE's in the NFL. And our brilliant coaching staff isn't doing a single thing to help him.
