Not much D in eath Valley today. Roughly 900 yards of offense total with about 10 minutes left in the game.

Best world series I ever saw was Braves/Twins in the early 90's. The final two games were both extra inning pitching masterpieces by both sides. My interest in baseball did wane later, but not because it was necessarily boring.

As we have seen, no one can predict how good a class of qb's will be until they actually get to the NFL.
-
GT's next two opponents are not very good at defending the pass, and Pitt is only average, so he will have a chance to rack up some numbers before he gets to Georgia. But I agree with you, almost no chance at the Heisman. POY or Offensive POY, he is the favorite.

Crazy ending to the Wake SMU game as Wake hands SMU its first ACC loss in the regular season. Ugly game, but an ugly win is better than a well played loss.
-
I think it would. He is more durable than the rookie and far far better than Wentz.

Given that making the playoffs seems far more likely for Darnold than for anything of the Vikings, maybe they do.
-
I wonder if the Vikings regret not bringing back Darnold.

The Luchese crime family associate in the good fellas movie (Henry Hill) was involved in one of the worst incidents. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1978–79_Boston_College_basketball_point-shaving_scandal

It seems to have little to do with taxes, and much to do with providing insider information related to sports betting, ie which players are injured or having other issues. Also something about working with the Mafia and rigged poker games.

BREAKING: Panthers signing a new QB
Davidson Deac II replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Has lttle to do with it. I have been here a long time and we had long threads about practice squad qb's well before the current situation. Most NFL fans are qb obsessed. -

CJ's passes tonight have not been very accurate even when he has time. And he lucked out on what would have been a very bad turnover on his part.
-
Not sure if that is a fumble, but if it was, I think it was a TD for Seattle.
-
I think both are true. Baker missed a few open receivers by throwing it about five feet over their head.
-
Kneel down time. Defensive dominance by Detroit against an offense that was scoring at a high clip, although losing Evans early hurt a lot. Also, we are a game out of first. I doubt it will last, but we haven't been able to say that in a long time.
-
Detroit's uniforms must be causing Baker to flashback to his time in Carolina. His accuracy or lack thereof is bad tonight. Detroit did bail him out there though.

Unless we make some idiotic trade, we aren't getting anyone good. -
What's the best way to split RB carries?
Davidson Deac II replied to Khaki Lackey's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would like to see what Chuba and Rico could do if we had a fullback leading the way. Bring back the I formation. -
Remember in Cam's third year when we started out 1-3, and Cam was coming off a horrible game when we lost to Arizona 22-6 and for the season, he had as many turnovers as as passing TD's and many fans were already looking at the next draft for a qb?

Almost none of Daltons passes were on target.

No doubt. I was at the game watching it and it looked like a fly ball to the infield. It got in the air and just hung up. XL tracked it like a shortstop.
