  1. To silence all of them. Multiple SB wins. Personally I am not yet convinced but I have more hope than I did after the first two games last year.
  2. I agree. Imo, what we need to see from a young developing QB are clutch throws under pressure and avoiding to many turnovers and bad sacks. Big yardage totals are somewhat overrated.
  3. Remember 2017 when we went into the playoffs with maybe 1 decent WR who was injured. Times sure have changed.
  4. Fair enough, but I doubt he could run that when he was with us. And fwiw, Sanders ran a 4.32 20 yard shuttle, Olsen was 4.48. Sanders also ran a faster 10 yard split. I think these two items are more indicative of football speed than running down the field in a straight line. But the point is that, especially with tight ends, blazing speed is not the most important element. Getting open, using the body to block off the defender, finding the seam in the defenses, are the most critical elements.
  5. I will wager that both of them are faster than Greg Olsen, and he was a pretty decent tight #1.
  6. Yeah, but big difference between a qb who was considered elite and in his prime at the time vs a 35 year old kicker who struggled last year.
  7. You are right, I completely forgot about those.
  8. Wouldn't mind giving him a try here, just to see if last year was a one off and he still has something left.
  9. Thank God or Bhudda for that. He is not talented enough to deal with the circus that might accompany him.
  10. He might be, and likely will be cut during preseason. But if we are talking about cap space, cutting him saves very little.
  11. There is a part of me that wants to hang on to Clowney. Providing a solid veteran presence might help the young guys if we turn out to be a decent team. Or if he plays decent this year, but we are not in playoff contention, then we can trade him to a contender for a draft pick or two when the trading deadline approaches. That being said, if we need the cap space, so be it.
  12. Sanders is definitely getting a dose of humility.
  13. Maybe we can grab him in the 7th as a backup to Bryce.
  14. Pro wrestler. He gets paid to talk trash like that. I thought it was funny.
  15. Free safety and a backup qb. That way we can save a position to get a backup long snapper.
  16. Only team that could possibly take him now would be the Rams if they want to try him as a replacement for Stafford when he retires.
  17. It would be ironic if he ends up with Cleveland.
  18. Be interesting to see the reaction if Sanders drops to the second round.
  19. I was looking at his last mock draft. It was a guess of where guys will get drafted. Of course, he probably has 50 of them, like most of these analyst do. And most of them are wrong and don't really know who will end up the better player. We have Macmillan, just have to see how it works out. I was listening to some guy on the radio who said we should have taken golden because he is faster. Sometimes I think speed gets overrated just a bit. Shiftiness and agility might be more important than running a 4.45 vs running a 4.3.
  20. Given that he so far has gotten just about every pick wrong, not sure his opinion matters much. But I do admit the pick surprises me.
  21. Every single pick we make
  22. It also works for them because they have great qb play. And we play in a bad division.
  23. We may want to trade down, but I don't think anyone will offer enough to make it worthwhile.
  24. Well, didn't say we had a great chance, but we have a chance. In truth, the difference between winning and losing in the NFL is just a few players. If Bryce continues to improve, if the Oline stays healthy, and if the defense can get up to barely adequate, we would have a shot. Especially if the other teams in the division struggle.
