  1. Not a chance. If available, they will likely go with Hunter.
  2. The play calling was fine. And we didnt abandon the run. The passing game was working better. Poor run defense, missed fg's, dropped passes, and a fumble cost us the game.
  3. One thing they have to work on in the off season is improving the run defense
  4. I don't think they will get much sympathy from us on that.
  5. Its not something that could be backed up by data one way or the other. Its just an opinion, like most things stated here. Regarding my comment that started this discussion, Imo its more difficult to find good offensive linemen than wide receivers, due to a number of factors. Granted that anyone that reaches the NFL has elite skills, but I think that most players with the size, strength and skill would rather play on the defensive line. If an offensive linemen does his job well, no one hears his name. But if a Dlinemen gets to the qb a couple of times a game, all the fans know it. Have a good offensive line directly impacts the run and passing attacks. Where as have a good group of receivers only indirectly impacts the run game. Miami's run game has taken a huge hit this year, while ours have improved. I think Hunt is a big part of the reason this is true. Not the only part of course, but a big part.
  6. As much as he struggled last year, I don't think Reich has ever done anything that stupid. I can't remember any coach doing anything that dumb. The closest thing I can remember is in college basketball when Chris Webber called a timeout the team didn't have. But that was a heat of the moment of forgetting and best I can remember, he admitted the mistake.
  7. I am never surprised when any college qb does poorly in the NFL. Any surprise that I have would be reserved for any college qb that actually lives up to his billing. That being said, Ward has about as much of a chance as most of the others, ie about 1 in five if you look at qb's picked in the first round.
  8. Miami's offense is as good as any in the country. But their defense is not good at all.
  9. He had 30 plus seconds left and a timeout, with the ball on the 40 yard line. His kicker had the leg to make it from that distance. How anyone could defend that is beyond me. Just man up, admit you screwed up and move on.
  10. The end game series against Detroit was one of the most baffling things I have ever seen. And his defense of it was even worse.
  11. I disagree. Most of the really big guys with athleticism want to play on the defensive side of the ball. Very few want to be a olinemen.
  12. Probably wont be a popular opinion give the obsession people have with receivers, but the Dolphins would be a better team if they resigned Hunt instead of Waddle.
  13. I lived in Hawaii for three years, and enjoyed it more than any place I have ever lived. Yall can have all the snow, I will take shorts and tshirts in Feb. Just wish it didn't cost so much.
  14. Jordan is playing very efficiently tonight.
  15. Maybe we can end his hope when he runs into the Panthers buzz saw.
  16. Cowboys really killing their chance to win the Sheddur Sanders sweepstakes.
  17. The players have given up. The coach gave up. I suppose that is tanking of a sort. I wonder if Dione will let his son play for the Giants.
  18. I hope he plays well, but imo no single game will give us an answer. Just have to look at his whole season at the end of the year.
  19. I think all the other fans in the ACC hope that UNC hires Kingsbury. He has a losing record everywhere he has ever coached. If UNC hires Kingsbury, and Dallas hires Deion, as a fan of neither team, that would be the best off season ever.
  20. But they should be realistic. 30 point games are relatively rare this season, and they depend on more than just the qb. Plus high scoring is an expectation of the offense as a whole, not just the qb. Receivers have to get better before we can get to that level. I expect, or at least want him make good decisions and limit turnovers. Throw it accurately and play his best when the game is on the line.
  21. By that standard, you would not believe in any qb this year, except perhaps Josh Allen. Patrick Mahomes is the best qb in the NFL and he has two 30 point games this year. He had only two last year. Scoring is down in the NFL and 30 point games happen less often than the did in previous years. My only requirement for now is that he consistently plays well, keeps the turnovers to a low number and give us a shot to win games.
  22. The spread is something oddsmakers create to encourage betting. In terms of how good the team is, its only slightly relevant.
  23. I am more around 25-30%. But I was at 0% after the first two games, so its a vast improvement.
