Luvu / Chinn….. why did we let them go again?
Davidson Deac II replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper may be a bad owner, although I think that is sometimes overblown, especially when it comes to his interfering in football decisions. Fwiw, I think Teppers biggest problem is making bad hiring decisions. Fitterer and Rhule were awful. But he isn't in the same universe as Dan Snyder. Also, the Commanders (almost typed Skins), lucked into Daniels. They have crapped out so many times in the qb lottery so many times, that they were bound to get it right once (assuming Daniels isn't a 1 year wonder). -
No it won't. It didn't yesterday. It came down to allowing nine sacks and the worst kicking performance I have ever seen in a playoff game.

Chance to cement your legacy as a GM by building a team around a great young qb, or go to a team that doesn't appear to have much of a shot of getting a qb this year. I know what my choice would be.
-
The Bill could certainly win. They have a better chance than any other AFC team of beating the Chiefs. But the Chiefs defense is dominant, and they are playing in KC.
-
IMO, there should be two MVP awards, one for qb, and one for other players.
-
Probably showing my age here, but that reminds me of a Cowboys Steelers SB, when a Cowboy tight end (Jackie Smith) dropped a td in the end zone that would have tied the game. Cowboys ended up losing.
-
Well, that is ball game. Good hands on a slick field.
-
Yeah, I corrected it.
-
Dropped pass. If the Ravens don't win this one, he will remember that drop for a long long time.
-
That is the definition of excellent route running, especially on a slick field.
-
I think the issue was less with Allen having it, and more with having him run it up the middle with limited blockers in front.
-
Yeah, but the Ravens have only lost to the Chiefs once. The other years, they lost to Cincy, Tn, Buffalo, and the Chargers.
-
Got to kick the fg here. Going up by 8 is huge.
-
If Chiefs and Eagles are in the Superbowl, could be the lowest scoring SB since the Rams/Patriots 13-3 masterpiece.
-
Good thing for him they don't really pay him to catch it. Although he does catch it on occassion.
-
Winter came for House Rams.
-
He didn't have the measurables/pedigree. Btw, measureables/pedigree is sometimes, a lot of times, overrated.
-
That was one hell of a catch and throw.
-
Question for the Rams is can they protect Stafford, and can the Rams receivers hang on to the ball if he can get it to them?
-
I disagree with Collingsworth. As slick as the ball is with the weather, if you aren't sure, get away from it.
-
Yeap, Carson Wentz got em there and Nick got em the ring. I will also say that while this is painful to bring up, Peyton Manning was a second tier (and I am being generous) qb during his last season. He was smart, but couldn't throw it more than ten yards.
-
I thought the turnover just before halftime was critical. A td or even a fg then changes the game a lot
-
The defense wasn't good. We all knew that. But without the offense turning it over so much, they likely win regardless
-
Well, that is new. A toss to the running back, who then does a shovel pass to the receiver. That is pretty neat.
