Barring a turnover or another missed fg, this one is over.

Well, its going to be called back, but I don't blame him for trying.

The Bills have one of the best qb's in the NFL, and will be a tough one for us. But their run defense is statistically the worst we have faced (for the time being), so we might have a shot.

Bijan takes it 81 yards. Bills run defense this year is not good.

All I wanted this year was to see some improvement from last year. I thought we could win between 7 and 10 games this year and haven't seen anything to change my mind. Jets, Saints, and pull a couple of upsets along the way and we met the mark of improving. To actually have a shot at the playoffs will require playing better in a few areas, such as rushing the passer.

The signal caller has about 5-10 seconds to recognize the offense and call the defense. I can't imagine its easy.

I agree, but I also think coaches take a little while to determine what position is best for a specific player. Regarding Wallace, he started this year with 11 games under his belt, so it might have taken the staff a little while to determine where he is best.

While we could certainly lose to them, they are really not better than their record suggest. They have the worst sack ratio in the league. They have the worst passing stats in the league. They can run the ball, but at least on paper, they should be a good match for us as our run defense is good while our pass defense is not.

Lets hope that happens.

Their GM needs to go.

I don't think we are ready to compete with the Bucs yet. In truth, they are probably a SB contender at this point. But it is nice to be in the conversation at least.

You do realize I was complimenting them on their play when the game was on the line don't you. But even with their best receiver out, their receivers were running free thru the secondary for three quarters. And we were not getting any pressure at all.

Jones getting a lot of yards, but also getting hit a lot.

One thing we definitely need to work on next offseason is getting more pressure on the passer. Not sure if we do it thru the draft, or free agency, or just work on the younger guys getting better. Our pass rush has improved slightly over the last 4 weeks, but it is still the weakest area of our defense right now.

As bad as pass d looked for most of the game, for most of the 4th qtr they were fantastic.

One thing to keep in mind regarding the play of Bryce. Bryce ended the season playing well. Took KC, Philly, and Tampa to the wire when they all had a lot to play for, and had a big game against Atlanta when they still had a shot at a playoff spot. But there has been a wholesale change in receivers. Coker and Sanders are both injured, Thielen is gone, and the only returning receivers from last year have been XL, Moore and Tremble. Moore and Tremble are role players, and XL was also injured and hasn't played well when he has been in. Even veteran qb's are going to need to get in sync with a new group of receivers.

They are not great, but their run d is a little better than the Cowboys and significantly better than the Dolphins. Pass defense isn't very good. But their biggest problem is they get no help from the offense and the other team usually has good field position because they don't do much on offense and get sacked a lot.

Brown has been great, but Moerhig has been great in run defense, and the young guys are getting better.

He has been great the last two weeks, but keep in mind that Miami is really bad at run defense and Dallas is beat up. Not in any way shape or form denigrating Rico's play today. But Dowdle and Hubbard should continue to rotate, as this is better for both them and the team. And Hubbard will and should start when he returns.

Both teams are beat up. Injuries will be no excuse for either side.

FSU went from national championship contender to will they win a game in the ACC quickly.

Could be a rainy Sunday as well. Might favor us, might not.

Only two qb's this year got to 300 yards against the Cowgals. And one of those was in OT. Williams and Fields cam close, but most of Fields yards came in garbage time.
