  1. Positive me. He had 600 plus yards in a passing attack that was one of the worst in the league year. Negative me He was an integral part of one of the worst passing attacks in the league last year. We will see what happens I guess.
  2. My guess is that at some point, we will be carrying three qb's (when Darnold gets back).
  3. So who gets cut or traded now Marshall Shi (I hope not) Zylstra? Anderson maybe?
  4. Spoiler I thought the confrontation between Daemon and Rhaenyra was well done.
  5. Our qb situation as a whole has been bad since the second half of 2018.
  6. Fair point, but Mond has actually played some, while next year will essentially be Corral's first full preseason, assuming he doesn't get injured again. From what I have seen watching the NFL all these years is that cutting a guy in Corral's situation in a new coaches first year doesn't normally happen.
  7. Corral will be here next year, regardless of whether Rhule is or not. Probably the year after as well.
  8. Or they could have a qb coach that could help him. As most teams do.
  9. Its 99.9 percent true. Definitely 99.9% true. Seriously though, looking at it objectively, without our preconceived notions about the potential for Corral's success, there is a pretty decent chance that he will be here at least three years. Now if he comes back in the third season and looks horrible in preseason, maybe not. But the reality is that if Mayfield plays well and resign him, then Corral will have a decent shot at being the backup. If Mayfield doesn't look good and we get a new coach and we draft a qb in the first round, Corral will still have a decent shot at being the backup.
  10. He is here for at least two more years regardless of whether Rhule survives or not.
  11. There may be some piece of paper that says that, but I think most believe that Foreman will be the one subbing for CMC most of the time.
  12. How do you go 10 for 10 on fg's but miss four xp's?
  13. Sounded more like season ending, but we will see. Terrible way to end a career if true.
  14. The statement is fairly vague. I imagine they have or soon will have more specific information on the possibility of Zane returning this year.
  15. That was more because Fox went to three yards and a cloud of dust offense over the second half of the season. With Steve Smith and Deshaun out for the year, and Stephen Davis done, didn't have much of a choice.
  16. I don't recall a kicker getting injured when kicking on the sidelines into a net.
  17. None of our running backs have looked very impressive tonight. But Hubbard does have our longest run of the night, and Foreman had a nice catch on the td.
  18. HBO app crashed on me. Had to watch it on my PC. Eventually, HBO said to delete the app and reinstall it, and I can watch it now, although I am not sure if it worked due to lower traffic volume or due to the reinstall.
  19. If Baker plays well, we need to keep him. Even if we get rid of Rhule. Top 10/15 qb's aren't that easy to get. Those that say we can just draft one need to take a look at draft results over the last 10 years or so. Looking at NFL drafts from 2010-2019, a lot of qb's drafted in the top 10 don't work out. At best, its 50/50. IMO, if we have a guy that can play, we keep him and build around him.
  20. If he balls out, that makes the decision easy. You sign him to a big contract. The real question is what you do if he has a middle of the pack year.
  21. Agreed, and fwiw we may not be in as bad a shape at tight end as some think. We still don't really know what we have in Tremble.
  22. If we are good enough to contend for a playoff spot, I would prefer Sam. Not great, but maybe capable of winning a game or two if Mayfield is out. Plus anyone else we bring in will mean we have to pay them. Not a lot of course, but we would be paying them, while Sam's cap hit is still on the books.
  23. Well, I am not sure it was the right decision, but then I think it really doesn't matter that much. Fans complained last year about the snaps that the qb's were getting, and yet Darnold actually looked decent in the first few games but got worse as the season went on. In reality, those snaps, or lack thereof, made little or no difference to last year's outcome.
