  1. We had DJ Moore and Foreman. Not sure we have the pieces to improve this year.
  2. Tampa isnt good. Baker will throw a pick 6 meaning we lose 17-13 or something like that.
  3. Sam Howell just made the worst pass I have seen this year.
  4. I don't like Harbaugh, but he might be a possibility. If Tepper is the ass some believe him to be, and we know Harbaugh is an ass, well maybe the only person who can get along with an asshole is another asshole.
  5. Normally, only about 25% of draft picks stick around for more than 2 or 3 years. But I don't think our numbers are anywhere near that good. To early to judge this year, but the previous two years aren't going very well. And the front office moves/trades have been terrible, with one or two exceptions.
  6. It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few years. With so many of the top historical programs crammed into two conferences, the fans of a school like Oklahoma might start to chafe a little bit when they go 9-2 several years in a row and miss the playoffs even with the expansion. All the extra money won't mean much.
  7. You might be right. On the other hand, the backup qb who played against Florida and was starting to play well towards the end of the game might be the next Joe Montana, who is just starting to figure things out. We don't know until they actually play.
  8. Yes, not sure what the problem is with that. Just like Ohio State will get punished for losing to its biggest rival in one of the toughest games of the year.
  9. I believed he should have been given the Mahomes treatment and spent most of the first year on the bench. Especially after we had our best offensive game with Dalton. If making him sit and watch embarrasses people, tough. And if his psyche can't handle it, then he has no shot at making it as an NFL QB anyway.
  10. They are a great team, and next year they would be in, but they lost when it meant the most.
  11. You could make an argument for them definitely. I do think losing the conference should knock Georgia and Ohio State out of the conversation.
  12. That's an opinion, but they lost when all they had to do was win and be in. I have to admit, that is why I prefer the NFL. Opinions and votes don't matter, only what they do on the field.
  13. It should be FSU, Alabama, Washington, and Michigan.
  14. I don't think the NFL will expand again, at least not anytime soon. To many of the stadiums are normally at 50% or less of capacity. TV ratings are declining (slightly, but still declining). The Market is changing, and the revenue stream might not be able to grow as much in the future as it has in the past. There hasn't been any serious expansion talk in 30 years, and the current group of owners is unlikely to be willing to split the revenue with more teams. And if it does happen, its likely to be international. I think this would be a mistake, but almost all expansion talk centers around international expansion.
  15. Well, in fairness, it does help a bit when you have Marvin Harrison and Marshall Faulk around you.
  16. They are calling some iffy penalties tonight. Refs must not have gotten laid last night.
  17. Announcer said that Seattle knows they are going to get pressured, so they gameplan to get the ball out quick. What is that like?
  18. That was one of the weirdest two minute drives I have ever seen. Seattle had to score three times to get a single td, and Dallas had more offsides penalties in that one drive than some teams have in an entire game.
  19. Well, in fairness that is true with most head coaches. That is why Sean Payton left the Aints when Brees retired.
  20. I think its absurd to say that Tepper doesn't care about winning. If he didn't care about winning, he would be off skiing in the Alps or whatever incredibly wealthy people do these days. He just has no idea how to run a team, and it showed immediately when he hired Rhule. Since then, it's been one mistake after another.
  21. If he was performing well, like a top 10 qb, very few would be complaining. Imo, if he does become a good qb, what we gave up won't really matter. But if he is a bust, very few will forget what we gave up.
  22. Our defense has shut Tn out in the second half. Despite the large amount of injuries, and our limited ability to pressure the passer, the defense has had us in most games this year. If our offense was semi competent, we would likely be a 500 team.
  23. Levis attempts to draw us offsides has lead to three penalties, all false starts.
  24. Tn is going to score on this drive. Defense is worn out and they are just going to hand it off to DH.
