I don't know, I kind of want to buy a Reddick Jersey now. In fact, I wouldn't mind if it had shut up and watch written on it. Not really, but as they say, there is no such thing as bad publicity.

If I were a professional athlete, movie star, politician, or any other famous person, I would stay away from Social Media. To many armchair quarterbacks, political nuts, or obsessed fans who think they can say what they want and trash people because of the relative anonymity of it and the fact that they pay your salary. I pay the salary of the waitress at a restaurant, doesn't give me the right call her trash because she got the order wrong.

Desperate times call for desperate measures

Not really defending PJ, but lots of very bad quarterbacks have had draft picks used on them. Including some who shouldn't have ever been drafted. -
He is going to end up playing for the Steelers/Ravens/Bengals. And torching the Browns.

I don't think we know about Darnold yet. But if I were a betting man, I would say that PJ is going to be the starter.

Depends on the laws of the state. I don't know what Nevada's laws are, but I do believe he will do some time. This one will have to much notoriety not to.

Definitely true. Many intoxicated people just aren't thinking clearly. Doesn't excuse what they did, but expecting them to behave rationally is a waste of time. Best thing to do if you are going to be drinking is leave the car at home to begin with.

Is Trubisky an upgrade over anyone on the Washington roster right now?

The offense line was actually adequate vs the Falcons

We ran the ball 45 times yesterday (granted some of those were scrambles). And we got positive yards most times. That makes pass blocking easier. Its true that Atlanta's defense isn't that good. But I also thing having the new running back helped. He provides some speed and elusiveness that we don't have without CMC. -
Oh, I definitely agree. I just find it interesting that over the years, the Falcons have spent so much draft capitol on their receiving corps, but don't have much to show for it.

I think with Ridley out, his options were limited.

Late Games Thread

For the rookie qb's, Another rough day for Trevor Lawrence. Jaguars setting themselves up for another top two pick. And a young qb led the Jets to victory, but it wasn't Wilson. I thought Justin Fields had a pretty decent outing today. Did throw a pick (to Josh Norman), but it wasn't a bad throw, just bounced off the receivers hands. Mac Jones continues to look pretty solid. -
This is the average, and its from a couple of years ago, so take it fwiw. https://www.newswise.com/articles/return-to-play-after-a-concussion-is-19-days They do sometimes return sooner, just depends on the circumstances.

Sam actually threw the ball fairly well today. But for a couple of critical drops, the end result might have been a little more lopsided. He still has a ton of work to do to be a decent consistent QB, but we will miss him if he is out.
-
Its exceedingly rare these days for someone to get reported with a concussion, and be back in the game the next week.

The running backs, even Hubbard after a rough start.
