Let me see if I can do the over reaction right. Travis Hunter is a bust. He only had two catches in a preseason game against the other teams backups. Jacksonville should have taken the guy I like in the draft.

Depends on the rest of the question. What back up QB gives us the best chance to win, if the starter goes out for a few games? That is a perfectly legitimate question. And if we get to the point where we are a consistent playoff contender, its a question we will need to ask/answer.

If you are talking about Sanders, well this is a thread about Panther players, so he is not really a part of the discussion. But he made some sharp passes last night. Whether he can do that during an actual game is debatable, but he did nothing to hurt his chances last night.

Other than that one, I don't remember any.

And Coker/Thielen and even XL. I think a passing offense that has the guy with the best hands on the team (Thielen) being covered by the third best cover guy on the defense.

Yeah, that was bad from the start.

If you are talking about the sack on Bryce, as best I can remember, he was tripped up when he took off. Wasn't really much of a sack. If memory serves, he had some time, no one was open and he took off. And Hubbard had decent room in 2 out of 3 runs. Everything past that point though was forgettable.

Starting offensive line played well.

I don't care much about the final score. Bryce and most of the starters played well when they were in. And the second quarter consisted of a lot of penalties that cost us. That can be cleaned up. I do think that we are going to have to bring in a better backup qb next year. I don't give a crap about the competing for position nonsense. Bryce is the starter, we just need someone who can come in and give us a shot at winning if he goes out.

I have to admit, he has made some nice throws after a rough start. Has some rookie mistakes as well.

I like Coker.

Yeah, I corrected it. Sorry about that. He did a few, but averaged less than 1 a game.

He didn't have a lot of punt returns in college, so its probably not that familiar to him.

I guess if you are going to ge thrown out of a game, a preseason game is the one you want to be thrown out of.

He has ran the ball fairly well. That's about it.
