One thing is certain, its Surtain/Horn and then there is a gap between them and the CBs available in the later rounds. Plus, Jackson and AJ are our clear top guys right now. Jackson has a nagging foot injury that can hit any time and AJ wont even be available the first couple games. We are thin after that. Im just glad they are prioritizing CB over WR.

I have warmed up to trading down, i have been doing a bunch mock drafts and the most fun i have had is drafting around 2,3,4. Its gonna be a lot of talent to choose from and guys that can play right away. As long as they take a LT somewhere in the 2nd im good with it. My best scenario is hoping Sewell drops to us though.

I think it does, and even so he can start out on the right side and then move to left eventually. He had no problems playing either one...outside of Sewell all these guys have same flaws in their profiles for playing left, they just need refinement. Also, i dont see it out the realm for them to flirt with moving Moton to the left side. He wants to be paid like a left tackle might as well move him over there. I think he will do fine.

As much as i like slater i cant shake this same sentiment.

If we trade back Teven Jenkins is my top choice, i would take him even over Darrissaw and Tucker. Dude is a mauler and can play either tackle spots i think his upside is on Sewells level. Trading back and taking jenkins i would have no problem with.

I pretty much agree, its crazy how nobody is acknowledging how terrible we are at guard because its not a important position. I would load up in this draft.

Which is why its great we got our guy last year, i remember there was talk of trading down. We already knew it was gonna be kk last year going into that season as well.

I think this might be the best mock i have done so far. Switched it up a little, laid off the o line focus since everyone is so confident in the Free agent signings (dont know why) but the main objective with the first 4 picks was to fix the most glaring weaknesses outside of QB last year in my opinion. Now they become a strength, holland is a saftey, nickel corner, and punt return and is damn good in all 3 which makes him worthy of that 2nd round pick. Ifeat is a corner with size that can cover which is why i went with him over other cbs, we have enough small CBs. The last 2 picks are good develop projects with talent. Look them up and you will see. But i would love if we did something similar to this, too damn excited. Also if already picked, you can easily replace sewell with slater and it would still be the same.

I dont know about this guy, i would rather draft one of these talented OGs in the draft than put faith in this guy. Like someone else said he gets bulldozed a lot and will get exposed in this division. I have heard nothing but negative reviews from nfl fanbase since we signed him. I dont think him or irving was improvement signings just depth.

Sorry but the line is garbage outside of moton. The whole left side needs to be fixed, i thought miller and moton were pretty good on the right but even miller had rough stretches when i go back and watch. He is just outside of back up material. I just can't in anyway imagine one of the first 2 picks isnt LT, then i actually go o line again in the second and shoot for a OG/C. When you really look at the offense, OG is the next biggest need after LT is taken care of. Humphrey Meinez Dickerson One of these guys can play guard this year and move over to center next year when paradis is gone. Kinda of killing 2 birds with one. I would even look in the later rounds for somebody like aaron banks if still around it would be great value. My big issue is while line was serviceable at times it was missing toughness and the guys we signed in the off season is not gonna cut it. A lot of guys in this draft would fix that.

I would love to have 2 first rounders next year. Cant remember the last time we went into a draft with 2 first.

Burrow wants his teammate and they took a tackle in the first round last year that was hurt. Yeah they are still idiots but they probably look at those reasons listed to pass if asked about it.

I REALLY like Chase and i would be lying if i said i would be upset if we picked him. I do want an LT bad as well, i have done a couple mock drafts and everyone has a LTs still available when we pick in the second. All of them still way better than what we have now. Maybe the staff views the second round guys not that far off from the top first rounders. Who knows but im fine if LT is first priority in the end.

I understand the optimism but im of the mindset that this is the draft we have been waiting on for strong improvement. I like what Moton and miller did which is why I said the left side needs retooled. LT is priority and i dont have much confidence in Elflein. I have heard bad reviews since we signed him, i want at least one guy who has All pro potential in the interior as it was a problem last year and would like to be better than 18th above all.

Good lord that O line is dreadful, they cant possibly think thats good enough. The whole left side needs to be retooled at the least. Im dead serious about first 2 picks on O line. Its really come to that.
