  1. I think that depends on how Cam looks the rest of the way. He's not 2015 Cam, but with barely any time to learn the playbook, he's already looked better than anyone we've had at QB since... Cam Newton.
  2. Miami is middle of the pack in run defense. We've done better against teams that struggle against the run. For example, Arizona is 23rd against the run. Washington is 5th. I'd say we have a decent shot at a bounce back game against Miami. Edit: ATL is 22nd so a sweep isn't out of the question. But it could get ugly after that if this metric holds. TB, NO, and BUF are all top 10 against the run. Edit: Again, maybe Cam improves the offense enough that this metric loses it's predictive power, but if it holds, 7-10 is a highly probable outcome.
  3. I have to push back on this idea. Since Cam's return, we've been very good in the red zone.
  4. If you truly believe DJax is a better DB than Gilly, I can't help you.
  5. No, you put your best DB on their best weapon. That's Gilly. Like how they used Gilly to erase Pitts against Atlanta. Of course, Gilly reportedly had to tell Snow to do that. Which just further makes your point about Gilly's condition irrelevant. Gilly was in fine condition to shut down Pitts.
  6. He was on the field for both of McLaurin's long catches. Just not covering him.
  7. You mean when they moved Gilly over to him? How that wasn't the plan from the jump is beyond my comprehension. Of course, Carter then turned DJax completely around for the go ahead TD.
  8. Horn was on Corey Davis during the Jets game. He's their best WR. We had a decently long thread about the TD catch Horn have up go Davis.
  9. During the third quarter, Antonio Gibson was averaging 10.0 yards per carry. You can't win giving that up.
  10. And CMC's hammy flared up in the second half.
  11. 1 INT, another INT that was dropped/bobbled, and a third near miss INT. That's the concern with PJ. You're holding your breath every time he drops back.
  12. This shows that just throwing draft picks at the line doesn't guarantee it will be better. We need to spend some picks on the line, but we gotta pick the right guys.
  13. Against the Patriots, I don't understand why other teams don't crowd the line to stop the run, take away the short zones, and force Mac Jones and their questionable outside receivers to beat you.
  14. J.D. McKissic is their 3rd down/passing game back. He's really good in that role. If we get a big lead, you'll see lots of JDM catching flares out of the backfield. Gibson sees very few targets.
  15. Alot of those tickets were sold prior to Cam's return. It might not be as overwhelmingly Panther as you might otherwise think.
  16. I'm just a little hesitant on a player who seems to have really turned it on in a contract year.
  17. Previous week where they were also missing their MVP-caliber QB and All-Pro WR:
