  2. So what do we do with Corral now?
  3. This is actually a pretty good signing. Heinicke got double what we just gave Dalton and I think is a much better backup. As Joe Person says, he knows his role.
  4. Could we theoretically pick after the pro days and have whoever it is come in/learn the playbook before the draft?
  5. I'm not knocking you, but there's no chance that a front office asks players their thoughts on signings. I'm sure they've had internal discussions amongst themselves on how what role he best suits the team and relayed that to him.
  6. That tells me that it was a Rhule pick. So disappointed that we essentially lost a 3rd round pick for nothing.
  7. We have enough money and can work the cap to sign both of them plus a few more free agent pickups. No need to worry about picking one IMO.
  8. Holy poo. I scared the poo outta my son in excitement. Let’s go!!
  9. With a staff that we've assembled, I'd be okay with trading up to #3 and getting whoever falls. That way we're - theoretically - giving up less than what San Fran gave to Miami (1st round swap from 3 to 12, a '22 first and 3rd , and a '23 first.
  10. This board would have imploded if we gave that to Carr
  11. Tepper didn’t hire an all star coaching staff to move forward with Darnold
  12. I'd love to trade up before free agency starts, but I think Chicago holds out as long as they can to drive up the price.
  13. A reporter asked why Duce Staley came to Carolina and he flat out said "Frank Reich." Awesome answer, and it shows why - so far - we made the right choice at head coach.
  14. fug them picks. We need a quarterback at whatever it takes in order to win in the NFL. I’ll be happy to trade a 24 and 25 1st to get to 3.
  15. It’s true. If there’s a guy we want this year then we have to do whatever it takes to take him. We can’t continue ti be in QB hell and expect to win.
  16. Just an FYI for anyone who’s curious, a 4-2-5/4-3 under front is the same as a 3-4 with a few differences, but essentially the same.
  17. This is the first time since the end of the 2015 season where I legitimately am excited and think we have a shot to make some noise next season. Huge get by Reich.
  18. Did anyone watch the pro bowl? I saw a clip and it looked terrible.
  19. Very solid press conference. I enjoyed that Reich answered some questions legitimately regarding his past coaching experience, the future roster, play calling, building up a coaching staff and what he believes a championship organization looks like. He's been a part of it in Buffalo, Philadelphia, and had some success in Indy. So he's proven he can do it and I'm honestly pretty excited.
  20. Kam was a cornerback when he first got to Virginia Tech then converted to safety. He was able to play deep thirds and run with receivers. Chinn is best in the box and flats, covering underneath zones and matching with backs and tight ends best.
  21. No way. Chinn has shown he can't match up 1 on 1 coverage deep down field consistently. He's better for a hybrid linebacker position, closer to the line of scrimmage.
  22. Here's a great video on Reich's versions of mesh, one of my favorite passing concepts.
  23. Rhule was pounding the table for Wilks. That was the real kiss of death.
  24. Trade up for Stroud/Young and we win the division next year
