Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns
TANTRIC-NINJA replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
In terms of trade value there is a round penality for every year away the pick is. So essentially 2 1st from the Rams in 23 & 24 equal a 3rd and 4th round pick. If a team who had 2 1sts next year offered that pkg you take it! Of course this screams a long term commitment is about to be made to a 24 year old top 7ish D end in the league! -
Official Panthers at Falcons GameDay Thread

Get off my lawn Mr. Scott. Taking off your helmet after a TD should not equal the same yards as slamming a QB on his head. -
Official Panthers at Falcons GameDay Thread
TANTRIC-NINJA replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why can you take a team selfie but not take your helmet off. Just let people have fun. It is the dumbest penalty -
Marshall Faulk, who is better than McCafe was traded for a 2nd and a 5th. We got more than enough value for an oft injured Instagram boi. A+ 5 stars, would recommend

NFL: Pats relationship with Mac Jones "gone sideways"
TANTRIC-NINJA replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
There was so much Huddle hype for Mac Jones lol. His ceiling is extra average like his Giddy. -
Legitimately asking, aside from no one hiring him, what makes Bienemy trash and what makes him another Rhule? Asking since Bienemy is not a college coach, has a great offensice scheme(sure with generational talent) and would not be given final roster say. I am not 100% he is my dude at all but are you saying hire Payton?
-
I appreciate Payton's offensive scheme...my dislike for him is beyond words. Eric Bienemy please...new blood and more importantly, a coach who does not have final say on roster moves.
-
On interviews alone...Baker is 957% better than annnnd-ummm-ya know Sam umm uhh Darnold.

Tae seemed pretty sharp and polished in pre season. Hope we see him back on the roster when things get settled

Panthers trade for wide receiver Laviska Shenault
TANTRIC-NINJA replied to joemac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Laviska has also been injury plagued. weird trade unless we are releasing Andre Roberts. -
Are we not seeing the parallels with Greg Olsen? contract expiration would be my only major concern. Same naysayer reasons: He is just a big WR who cannot block ____ position is more of a need

It was like Tinderbox interactions but in person.

Half a afternoon of water weight from Wofford will do this to ya. It's science.

Enter at own risk - Darnold is better than Corral
TANTRIC-NINJA replied to CRA's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think this is more predictive of success than a Wonderlic score -
He was just awful as an announcer. I am sure that means Fox will have him on the team each week to do our games.
-
This will drive people crazy but you RUN to the podium if he is there when we pick
-
Why would we contort ourselves to offload a good young player just to get rid of a 1 year, self inflicted contract? It makes no sense unless said young player has not developed as expected and nearing a contract extention so the front office can use the "our hands were tied!" Goodbye nameless longsnapper!
-
This young player that could be in the pkg could hurt right?
-
Malik sorta flicked it effortlessly while Ridder had to MAXIMUM EFFORT it. In the end you are talking 3 or 4 throws a season that would go that far.

Chris Simms top QB is Matt Corral and why you should listen
TANTRIC-NINJA replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
The sports broadcasting association should induct Thomas Davis into their hall of fame for single-handedly encouraging so many NFL QBs to immediately recognize their future as TV analyst/commentators. -
Observation: Panthers want to Draft a QB but...
TANTRIC-NINJA replied to Doc Holiday's topic in Carolina Panthers
#5 would seem to be the prime trade up pick to get a QB. NY can maximize the trade package to put them in prime position to trade up in 2023 and it is the pick ahead of us, on a clear QB horny team. -
His style of play does not seem like it will translate to the next level or will hold up past 6 games. Malik has that Steve McNair lower body and does not take the same hits Matt Corral does.
-
I guess this points toward that we are drafting either a QB or a DE/DT in the 1st round. I would be more than ecstatic about drafting Thibadeux from Oregon if he drops to 6.
