true, that was one game. also a handful of other games where his decision making was underwhelming as well as his overall performance vs other good programs. im not saying he sucks or dont want him im just pointing out that we learned nothing new about malik today and did nothing to adress concerns, which isnt his fault its a damn proday for god sakes. i think thise that are now all gung hoe about him are being emotionally swayed. football is still a game of X's and O's. Can he process those X's and O's on an NFL level? i dont know

to be clear, if the panthers take him at 6, then ill be stoked. That means they think he has what it takes in his head. until then i cant help but to be skeptical, and a great pro day did wow me, but it does nothing to address my concerns. every QB in this class has legit concerns

Hes not as fast as advertised either. theres a reason he didnt run any 40s. it would be underwhelming. dude makes some great highlight reel plays with his legs but teuthfully hea playing against a bunch of scrubs. You look faster and more athletic vs a bunch of scrubs. He wasn't playing in the SEC

im sorry but his tape is meh vs bad teams with vanilla defenses and im talking about his decision making on a play by play basis. not his highlight real rushing plays on youtube

yeah but in a live game situation is he going to chose the right throw when dudes are bum rushing him with several options he could take while the defense tries to confuse him im not saying its easy to go out on a proday and look great but you know exactly where to put the ball, and who its going to, and its one receiver going out for a pass in underwear we all know willis has the tools, and the people who are falling in love with him now are just riding the emotion wave pro days do nothing to show how well a QB can process a live action play and what he has up top n

Has a cannon and is accurate.. but games arent played in underwear his question mark is can he process plays in real time and make NFL reads? sure he looks great out there but so much of being a QB is cerebral. Plenty if great physical specimens have come out and flopped because they didn't have what it takes up top we all knew he would show out but when you know every single pass you are going to make with no rush with ones receiver out there in his underwear, you better be on point!

its still early Zach had flashes even so, He aint right about everything but he at least has a better shot at identifying good and bad QB traits better than you or me.

im not blaming him for not running the 40 as far as positioning yourself to be selected high as possible, you are right it does nothing but hurt you especially when you are thought to have elite mobility

don't get me wrong, hes got great instinct for rushing and breaks tackles he reminds me of javonte williams but a QB Chris Simms breakdown on him sounds about right to me

Willis isnt running the 40 because as good of a rusher he is, he isn't straight line fast and a meh 40 time would really cool his draft hype.

For the record Willis isn't even CLOSE to Vick in terms of athletic ability and rushing Don't get me wrong Willis is very mobile and can break tackles but to this day looking at some old vick highlights WOW that guy was an alien
