  1. I think he made it obvious he didn't best to be here and the more obvious he made it, the less we wanted him. Basically he was just being an ass to the team. Not a presence we wanted around the team.
  2. jameis isn't just weird, he's also a very inconsistent QB prone to REALLY bad games after making you think he could be a stud for a couple weeks.
  3. this.... unless it's for the trenches and we hit it the way we we did OG. i think this is the only place we should be throwing a lot of FA money if we're going to be. would rather we build through the draft, though and save the big money for good players we want to keep around.
  4. so basically it's still a bit subjective. refs interpret it. don't expect that to be done fairly or consistently.
  5. One thing I've noticed is now when it looks like a defense is getting ready to blitz on BY I get excited. Seems like he absolutely thrives when blitzed.
  6. Refs saw it. They just chose not to give it to us. Fug the refs.
  7. Until recently we haven't seen him even throw many 20+ yard passes at all. And we doubted that he can. We trusted what we saw because that was all he was giving us. It made us believe that what we saw was all there was. We're seeing potential now we haven't seen since he was drafted. He's growing ever week showing that he's capable of much more. It may take the rest of this year for him to build into the kind of QB we hoped we were getting when we sold the farm for him. He may not be at the level we were hoping he'd be at by now, but he's getting there, imo. And the team is going to have to grow with him. I'm looking forward to seeing him grow more this year and excited about what we can see next year with the growth and confidence he abd this team will have because of what they are seeing in themselves now. They may not be winning now, but they are learning what they can do and the work they put in now together creates a culture that can win a lot of games.
  8. Well put. I do the same thing and I teach my daughters the same thing.....when something seems too difficult, don't feel like it has to be understood and completed right away. Step back, breathe, and view it from a little distance and you'll see it from a new perspective that will help it all click for you.
  9. Last year was the worst possible situation a rookie QB could be in on every level and I think it messed him up. This year coming in, he put everything on himself but he was still fugged up from last year. He wasn't ready last year. He wasn't ready coming into this year. He needed to step back from it and watch a vet do it for a while. He needed an educated and mentored reboot for his brain and I think he got it. All this stuff was in him, he just had to have his brain reset to get him ready for the next level.
  10. He must be drinking from the same poison bottle those punk college kids were drinking from over the weekend. Too much of that junk going on and it needs to be shut down quickly and hard.
  11. I doubt that's the kind of dawg we're looking for. Just give him the boot.
  12. But he did and he looked damn good doing it. Apparently he is a QB who can do it. Receivers let him down today. Chuba let him down. Run defense let him down. But he played like a real NFL QB. I know this bothers you ge reality a lot of people in here try to live in. You'll get used to it, though.
  13. It's a shame he'll never get better than he is right now. Cut him.
  14. A rookie looking like a guy who has a lot of room to improve? The horror.
