They've been talked about in another thread or two this afternoon, but yeah.....no one is really all that impressed. They've gotten the attention they deserve.

Truth is regardless of who we hire, my feelings towards them and the team are going to continue to be "meh" until Rhule is fired. I won't allow myself to get pissed off anymore but this crap team or get excited when we have an ok draft and pick up a few decent FAs or win a couple games early in the season. Regardless of what happens we're going to keep winning just a enough games to get us a top 5-10 pick every year as long as Rhule is here. He's more interested in trying to build his "culture" (whatever the hell that is) than win.

except that we won't get first pick. we'll win games...early on in the season and then we drop off the cliff. we're looking at a consistent 4-5 win coach.

i'd like to find out what goes on during half time in that locker room.

I think that's giving them a lot more credit than they deserve. They're not that smart. They're just holding on hoping that something works and they're too cocky to realize they are in over their heads.

I think we've got a lot of good players, but there's not really a core group that is this team's identity. It's just a bunch of players. Not a bunch of panthers. Any of them could go and I wouldn't blink. First time ever I've thought of the team like that. Tepper/Rhule has destroyed our identity. I mean we weren't really a great team, but we had these players that you'd have a lot of pride in and that you'd call the faces of the team. We just don't have that anymore.

Losing with Rhule has taken away the enjoyment of being a fan. People are pissed. It's ok. You can be a fan of a team and be pissed at the direction they're going.

How much experience calling an offense has he had? How recent?

Come up with something positive then.

Honestly I don't even care. I won my fantasy league at work last week and I quit watching panthers a few weeks ago. I really don't have any interest in watching any of it right now.

That's our identity. That's where we've been. That's where we'll stay. And I'm bored of it.

There's a reason he filled up the roster with former players. He was more interested in having a team that hung on his every word and put him on a pedestal than winning games.

Good. Pretty useless metric when evaluating who would make for a talented player or teammate.

The big thing is....I really don't trust this coaching staffs evaluation process when it comes to offense, esp. OL and QB. If we had someone competent making the decision I would have no problem taking a center with pick #6 if he could be the caliber guy Kalil was. Kalil was an anchor we needed on the OL and I wish we could have built around better. I just don't trust these clowns to do anything right on the OL and not sure why anyone would trust them.

Was Ryan Kalil worth a first round pick? I know we didn't give up one for him, but if we had would it have been worth it?
