  1. Tanner McKee is really interesting to me. A bit one dimensional, but that's not a deal breaker. Not as exciting and gives less options on offense, but if he's good at what he does, I'm good with that.
  2. Penix injuries scares me from taking a shot in the first, especially the first half of the first round. I like him otherwise.
  3. So aside from Young, Stroud, Levis, and Richardson who should we be talking about? Not including Corral in this either. Just curious who else could or should be in play.
  4. Richardson has the lowest floor but the highest ceiling. Dude is a gamble, but if he pays off....watch out NFL.
  5. Agreed. Guy is a real specimen and will definitely be getting attention from teams picking in the 15+ range. Someone would pull that trigger. Would love to have him fall to us, though. Friggin beast
  6. Icing on the cake is the amount of guaranteed money they gave him.
  7. Sounds about right, and we end up winning the game because Russell Wilson forgets he's not on the Seahawks anymore when he gets under center and starts calling audibles and no one has a clue what to do
  8. Yep. How difficult could your job be? And that defense doesn't make your job more difficult either.
  9. This is really getting to me as well. Never been a fan of this style of "leadership". It doesn't matter if he said this stuff to DJ privately...let it stay in private. It's no one else's business. You don't throw your employees/players under the bus publicly. If someone is going to fall on the sword, it has better be yourself, don't throw the people under you on it and don't ask them to fall for you.
  10. Passing on Dorsey. Doesn't seem anything particularly special or innovative about him. Doesn't seem able to adapt or scheme all that well. Kellen Moore.... Pretty curious there, but is what he's doing sustainable?
  11. https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2022/11/7/23445739/indianapolis-colts-fire-frank-reich-reaction-jim-irsay-chris-ballard-jeff-saturday Decent read in how firing Reich was a big mistake made by an owner who has no clue what he's doing and makes rash, irrational decisions based on whatever emotions his drunk ass is feeling. Hiring Jeff Saturday only solidifies the idea irsay doesn't know what he's doing. It also lays blame on the GM who is, on record, committed to NEVER drafting a QB because he's afraid of failing and being run out of town. Reich hasn't done great but he's done better with the same kind of sucky QB carousel we've had here. His offense has done well considering the poo QBs he's had and adapted each time to their strengths. He's not top on my list and would prefer we went with a fresh untried face, but I wouldn't hate it at all if we decided on Reich. The problems we've faced here has largely been the result of having a bad coach with too much control. The problems the colts have had has been from having a drunk irrational owner and a GM without a spine.
  12. Lol nothing like hearing Sean Payton wants your job. Thinking Chargers are best fit for him.
  13. I like him. The players love him. He's a good coach. He won't take this team to the top. He's another Rivera. We don't need that. We need better. Players love him, but they'll love winning even more
  14. I just don't see him as much of a runner. I think he's athletic and definitely mobile behind the line of scrimmage, but when he starts to take off he just doesn't seem as fluid as he is in the backfield. At times he just seems really awkward doing it.
  15. yeah that's a pretty big knock. I mean its not insurmountable, but its definitely an issue.
  16. forced to choose between young and stroud, i'd likely go stroud but i'd be really happy with either. i think stroud has the highest floor between the two but young has the highest ceiling, but aside from a couple distinctions i think they're about the same level of talent. stroud has size and he's a better passer. young is a dynamic playmaker. young would be more exciting, but we'd be better off with either of them.
  17. if the goal is to grow a good mustache then minshew would be a great mentor. as a QB mentor ...i don't know about that.
