  1. First ballot HoF. Narrow-minded people like this boomer who still believes the game either shouldn't or isn't evolving (including the QB position) will have a problem with that and will argue till they die, but it won't change the fact that he brought in a new era of QBs who play the position differently adding more dimensions and excitement to the game. For that and all the records he beat early on and those he set throughout his career will put him in as soon as he is eligible.
  2. QB is a much bigger job than just being a passer. always has been. Cam just made it even bigger.
  3. getting your team in position to score TDs and ensuring they do one way or another. You need a guy that can make sure that happens. That's Cam. You need to score points to win a championship. Cam scores points.
  4. it's not worth correcting the autocorrect. it knows what's up.
  5. agreed about zona going for it on that 4th down. i saw them lining up and i was like, "really? interesting choice" "
  6. i expect all phases of the team to be hyped up and the crowd to be insane. momentum is going to go quick in our direction like it did in AZ. these guys are starved and Cam just brought Thanksgiving meal early.
  7. first, do what we can to keep the band together on defense. only thing i would want to add is honey badger if the chiefs keep being stupid and let him go. rest of the guys are keepers, imo. second, add a couple years to cam and i guess keep pj and darnold around. maybe darnold can learn a thing or two i don't know. guy has no trade value anymore so we're pretty much stuck with him. just glue his butt to the bench. let paradis go...please let him go. the only adjustments after securing cam for a couple more years is on the OL. #1 target should absolutely be terron armstead then just get the best available vet option out there at center...or draft one if there is a "start ready" one available. aside from the OL and Cam, i'm good with everyone else on that offense. even ian thomas doesn't piss me off anymore. if we can get Cam to buy us some time at QB so we can get that OL built right, we might be in a decent position to draft a QB in some year that isn't 2022 (it's just not a very good year to be doing that kind of thing). focus next draft on the OL and maybe a safety if we don't get honey badger and don't stress about not having a lot of picks.
  8. a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down
  9. rivera wasn't scary here and he's not scary there.
  10. I got tired of listening to dwill pretty soon after football was done with him. It didn't take long for most media outlets to get tired of listening to him too. Basically...I'm not putting myself through that. As far as Barnidge is concerned...
  11. Even with teddy and sam i can understand the rationale....i don't think it was the best thing to do, giving either guy extra years before we know what they really bring to the table, but you want to show that you have some faith in what they can do. i blame the extra contract length on marty because that's just a think he would do. what they did with sam, they just had too much confidence in their ability to see potential and coach it up. the separation from Cam was a tough call, but i still don't think it was a wrong one. how and when we let him go was a problem, but letting him go i think was good for a new regime trying to create it's identity and good for him (as far as maturing and gaining new experience with another org).
